Moving to London from US
Moving from the US to London soon and now getting into the fun part of finding a flat.
I’ll be working near Cannon Street in Central London and would ideally like to keep the commute to around 30 mins door-to-door.
My wishlist:
-Modern/newer building, ideally a high-rise
-1 or 2 bed around 650–700+ sq ft.
-Around £2,500/month, with some flexibility for the right place
-Gym + other decent building amenities
-Big windows and lots of natural light
-Safe, walkable neighborhood
-Good restaurants, pubs, cafes, shopping and general stuff to do nearby
-Parks or nice river walks would be a big plus.
Where would you look with this wishlist? Any specific areas or buildings/developments worth checking out (or avoiding)?
We are a couple in early 30’s.
