Is raising prices on your ad frowned upon when you are selling large multiples of the same thing?

I am a plant collector and have some rare/uncommon plants. They grow extremely well under my care and I always have surplus. In the past I have frequently posted them on marketplace about 50-75% below what others normally do for the same plants in my area. Almost all are snapped up within a few days. I'm not a shop looking to make profits, just to supplement my hobby and talk to folks in the plant community.

Now I am heavily downsizing my collection due to time and space constraints. I have these large "mother plants" that are worth several hundreds each, even at a large discount. I'm not comfortable dealing with that amount of cash with strangers.

So my plan is to chop them down into cuttings and bundle them, I plan to sell the cuttings 90% below what others list them as.

My question is a moral one, if I post the ad and have too many people want them, can I adjust the price or is that heavily frowned upon?

In the past this has happened when I'm selling a few cuttings or baby plants at a time, I always kept my price and committed to the first buyers. I only increased my prices for the same cuttings weeks/months later for new ads when I had more to sell.

This time I need to sell most of my plants over the next week or two not months. Hence the extreme discount, but I also don't want to discount so much that I miss out on what I could be getting. What would you do?

Please note I don't want to look into the hassle of shipping plants.

FTM to a boy, this is likely a silly question, looking for reassurance

Hi there, I'm a first time mom, I have a 6 month baby boy who is very high needs and clingy, I can't get anything done around the house and my arms and back are very tired.

I have only used the classic baby wrap and an Ergo baby Carrier (I don't remember the exact model, it was a used one gifted by a friend). I don't love how much I have to fiddle with the wrap and the ergo carrier makes him go to sleep when I don't want him to (trying to establish a better nap and sleep schedule).

So I bought the Qookie Go hip carrier, now here comes my embarrassing concerns. I'm worried about the positioning of my baby's crotch. There seems to be a lot of pressure in that area for him, like it's taking the majority of the weight. I don't know if I'm not wearing it right, but I followed the fitting instructions and it looks just like the ad photo. He seems to be happy and not in discomfort when he's in the carrier. I haven't used it much, I just received it in the mail.

  1. For longer wear, will it hurt or negatively affect boys?

  2. I'm looking into cloth diapering, has anyone experienced leaking issues with cloth diapers due to compression since so much pressure goes there?

Thank you in advance.

Height of Potty

My 6 month has been ECing this week, I'm so proud of him. We caught all poops (only 2, he only poops every two or three days) and he pees most times I place him on the potty. I place him about 10-12 times a day, coinciding with feedings and naps.

My question is the height of the potty. We bought two IKEA pottys one for each floor. Yesterday we were at Snuggle Bugs, and saw baby Bjorn and noticed the two sizes, the IKEA ones are probably the same size as the bigger baby Bjorn with the high back, I didn't realize there's an even smaller size. He seems to be doing okay on the bigger size but should we have started with the smaller one first? Does it matter?

Do the diaper cover have to water proof?

Like the question, how important is it for the cover to be water proof/resistant? Especially if I'm home and checking and changing the baby frequently? I'm thinking of using prefolds.

Also, do you use swim diapers as covers?

Please note I have no experience with cloth diapers, currently just getting into them.

"ridiculously amazing" ya no... they're edible

Edit: wow... Looks like people actually really like these!

For anyone wondering what they taste like, exactly like it's pictured, meh at best, like when you're starving.
