Listened to this again after many years. Still a banger

This used to be a go to album when I was like 15-16 but then I dropped it as soon as I got into more extreme styles of metal. At 26 I thought I would not like it anymore... Boy was I wrong. The way they blend high levels of technicality and intricacy with catchy melodies is just soothing, PTH is a really talented band and sleeping on them is a big mistake

They're not a punk band per sé, they're a black metal band, but this is essentially a punk song.

Also, they're a leftist band with DIY ethics which is pretty punk to me.
