Recommend a Rewatch

I typically cycle through Bravo rewatches during the year. I'm just coming off Summer House (I started my rewatch pre-scandal, but it was good timing). And now I need a new one. My go-tos are:

* VPR

* RHONY

* RHOA

* Southern Charm

* Summer House

RHONY is strictly for the fall/holiday season. What should my next comfort rewatch be along with the WWC recaps?

Please recommend high spice, older than college age that'll have me kicking my feet

Apologies in advance for the pickiness of this request. But I just dnf'd a book that made me rage with how douchey these guys talked and nothing is doing it for me. I cannot handle bro-y, college age characters with their "so many chicks here with great tits!" style dialogue and it seems like all I find these days.

Recently I devoured a ton of Cat Sebastian, so I'm spoiled. And right now it's like I want that + more spice 😂 Any recs?

Here are some others in this category I've loved:

* Endgame by Riley Hart

* Center of Gravity by Neve Wilder (Underrated Neve Wilder book, imo. It really stuck with me.)

* Oleander by Scarlett Drake

* The Temptation Series

* Secret Service by Tal Bauer

* Him, Us, etc.

I don't want fantasy, monsters or anything dark right now.

YES RONNIE. What A&W Should Have Said

Consider it the 9,000th thing Ronnie has said that I agree with. In their reunion pt.3 recap, Ronnie talks about how Amanda and West should have stood in their truth so much more. Would it have made them look like even bigger assholes? Of course. But I really wanted to see them double down and say, "You know what (ramona)? My feelings for West snuck up on me. But after ten years of letting myself be treated horribly blah blah blah, my friend was there for me and he made me feel seen and safe and I wanted it. And it's messy, but here we are. We got busted before I even fully understood where this was headed. And now I'm dealing with the fallout while trying to navigate this."

And then West could pipe up with how tough it was watching this woman who he cared about (🙄) suffer through a relationship that chipped away at her self worth (again 🙄 but he could attempt this angle if he wanted to), bring up witnessing Kyle's "FUs" first hand, Amanda crying in his arms, etc. Plus, insist that him and Ciara lasted only a few months in 2023. He ended it and she's a great girl, but they weren't right for each other. He messed up by doing Ear Stuff with her last summer, but that's on him.

My point is that these responses from both A&W would have been so much more interesting. I don't think it would have won them any more support, but it's *something* that humanizes them a bit more because damn having to sit through 3 hours of these lumpy grey rocks with nothing to say was sickening.

Need a show that doesn't randomly cut to loud explicit scenes

Please recommend a show for me and my husband that we can have on, and if one of our kids wanders into the room, I don't have to jump for the remote or worry about some pop-up violent or explicit scene out of nowhere.

I can't stand how so many shows nowadays are so dark and barely audible and then suddenly cut to some loud sex scene or someone screaming. It's so jarring and overstimulating.

It doesn't have to be so wholesome that it's corny or boring. I still want it to be compelling and well done. Example shows we like are Friday Night Lights and Schitts Creek. We also liked All Her Fault on Peacock.

Mic Necklaces Question

These are on a lot of bravo shows, not just SH. But this is where I see them the most.

Why do the guys need to wear what I assume are some sort of microphone necklace when one can't be clipped to their shirt, but the women don't have to? Where are the women mic'd when they're in swimsuits?

Re-Listening to Summer House s8 recaps.. oof

Not judging because I'd hate to have all my hot takes recorded for posterity, but man West had everyone fooled his first season. I'm rewatching SH and re-listening to the corresponding WWC episodes and it's wild to hear the commentary at the beginning of season 8.

I know it didn't take long for Ronnie to turn on West. But early on his first season, he had everyone fooled. Ben and Ronnie even insisted that Ciara was going to break his poor little short man heart! All around, it's an interesting listen going back, knowing what we know now. And it's got me reflecting that you never know how your perceptions of someone will change.

Below Deck Down Under Voices Unmatched

While this season of Below Deck lasted 900 years, I'm going to miss the recaps. Between Daisy, Joao, Jenna and Elle... Ben and Ronnie's BD voices might be their best of all time. Ronnie calling Daisy a bowling alley person was cracking me up.

When reality... people (I can't call them stars) show up on another show for an episode, usually for the drama, do they get a paycheck? I'm thinking like the S6 Summer House episode when Austen from SC comes for Lindsay's birthday. Would Bravo cut him a check? Or even Craig's appearances?
