🚨 Urgent - Roommate needed for July move in

I need a roommate asap because my previous roommate moved out to live with his girlfriend. New lease starts August 2026 but I need someone to move in as soon as possible.

It’s a 2 bedroom apartment in Flatbush neighborhood in Brooklyn. It’s a 5 minute walk from 2 and 5  Church Ave station.   The apartment has:

• central air
• a dishwasher
• a balcony

The building has:

• Virtual doorman
• laundry
• a small movie theater
• a study room
• a relaxation room with two massage chairs
• a bike room
• a gym
• pet grooming room
• a party room
• two roof top decks
• a lounge that has a tv and pool table.

The currently the rent is $3,250 that I split with my roommate ($1625 per person) plus $30 amenities fee. The new lease will increase only by $25 so it will be $3275 in total.

Electricity is usually $150-$300 ($75-$150 per person). Internet is $40 ($20 per person).

Must be cat friendly (I have 2 cats).

I’ve started swimming regularly and I’m looking for a decent fragrance free shampoo. I have eczema that can be triggered by fragrances. So far I’ve used:

Solpri Swimmer’s Vitamin C Chlorine Removal Swim Shampoo & Body Wash
*** There’s an unscented version that doesn’t trigger my eczema but it doesn’t lather that much and leaves my hair dry ***

SoCozy Kids Swim 3-in-1 Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash
***It has fragrance but it’s not strong. My hair feels soft after using it but it did cause a slight eczema flare up. Usually avoid buying hair and skin products from Amazon due to risk of counterfeit or tampered products but I did buy this shampoo on Amazon so I wonder if I got a sketchy bottle. I bought another bottle from Ulta that I’m going to try out soon***

TRISWIM Shot Set in Travel Bag | 2oz Travel Size Chlorine Removal Shampoo, Swimmer’s Conditioner, Swim Body Wash and Lotion | Removes Chlorine, Bromine, Hard Water Minerals & Saltwater and odors
**Worst mistake I ever made using this set. I impulsively bought this without even checking the ingredients. The shampoo, conditioner, bod wash and lotion all have strong fragrances. My hair felt nice and body wash and lotion was okay but i ended up with the worst eczema flare up I had in a very long time. My skin started burning and peeling. I had to go dermatologist for a new prescription cream to calm down my skin.**

DIY Vitamin C spray
**Vitamin C neutralizes chlorine so sometimes when I don’t feel like washing my hair, I take distilled water and add some vitamin C powder (sodium ascorbate) in a spray bottle and spray it in my hair after the pool and then rinse it off. It doesn’t clean my hair but it’s fragrance free, it neutralizes chlorine and doesn’t trigger my eczema.**

Do you have any other suggestions?
