Why are my curls so stringy instead of forming bigger curl clumps?

I have 2C–3A curls with medium porosity, but instead of forming bigger curl clumps, my hair separates into lots of tiny, thin strands, making it look frizzy in most areas.

Current routine:

  • Shampoo + conditioner 2–3x/week
  • Fix My Curls Leave-In Cream + Defining Hair Gel after wash
  • On refresh days, I wet my hair with a spray bottle, reapply a little leave-in (sometimes gel), and scrunch.

I'm attaching close-up photos. Is this just my natural curl pattern, or is there something in my routine that's preventing larger curl clumps from forming?

CB350RS Crash Guard: OEM vs Zana vs Mototorque?

Getting my CB350RS next week and trying to decide between these three crash guards (images attached).

I've seen a lot of conflicting opinions. Some people swear by Zana/Mototorque for better protection, while others say aftermarket guards can transfer impact to the chassis/engine mounts in a bigger crash instead of absorbing it. I've also come across comments about added vibrations with some aftermarket setups. Warranty implications are still unclear, I'll check with the dealership.

For those who've actually used them:

  • Which one would you pick and why?
  • Any real-world crash/drop experience?
  • Any vibration issues?
  • Any concerns about chassis stress, bent mounts, or engine case damage after an impact?
  • Does Mototorque feel too bulky on the RS?
  • Which one offers the best balance between protection, aesthetics, and practicality?

CB350RS Accessory Recommendations / E85 fuss?

Getting my CB350RS (Rebel Red) next week, most likely on the 10th.

While booking, I asked the showroom to add a front fender, seat cover, engine guard and crash guard. Looking at the stock engine/crash guards though, they don't seem like they'd offer much protection in an actual fall.

Would you recommend sticking with Honda's guards or getting aftermarket ones instead?

I'm also planning to get the SMK Retro 7. I know it's not the most practical helmet out there and has its drawbacks, but man it looks good. Any helmet recommendations around the same budget?

Also, what other accessories would you recommend getting from day one, and which ones are just a waste of money?

One thing that's been bothering me lately is all the E85/flex-fuel discussions. I've seen quite a few posts suggesting people wait a few months before buying a new bike.

Am I overthinking it, or would you still go ahead with a CB350RS purchase right now?

DAC recommendation for Kefine Klean SV? Most options seem out of stock :(

Just ordered a Kefine Klean SV (3.5mm) and now looking for a DAC to pair with it.

The ones I've shortlisted are:

  • FiiO JA11
  • Audiocular Spark
  • Audiocular Beam
  • Audiocular D07
  • JCally JM6 Pro

Would strongly prefer a DAC with app-based EQ/control if possible.

Problem is, half of these seem out of stock everywhere.

Where are you guys buying DACs from? Headphone Zone, Concept Kart, The Audio Store, elsewhere?

Also, which one would you pick for the Klean SV specifically?

i got myself 5 decants and could narrow it down to these 3 for a summer fragrance. ive already got rare reef so was searching for a non-citrusy type smell.

now the problem is the above 3 got some mixed pros n cons, and hence unable to decide which one I should go for.

island dreams - really liked the smell but it seems the longevity and projection are poor.

collector's edition - not a really different smelling perfume tbh.

mawra - powdery, not sure if im liking it or not. trust me, its a hit or miss on a daily basis.
