Anyone have any success recovering their gut after heavy dose antibiotics?

Four years ago, I was on several types of antibiotics for a total of a month for a sinus infection. This has left my stomach with permanent distention. Within the first 8 months, my gut was able to heal a bit, and the distention became significantly less severe. However, there has been no improvement since then, and the distention and bloating still persists. I never had any stomach related issues prior to this as well. After putting this issue off for too long, I want to tackle it. I recently spoke with a dietician who recommended I start with doing a food log and describing foods that make my stomach more bloated, before doing an elimination diet. Has anyone had any success in healing their gut in similar situations to this? Any recommendations for supplements I should take or practices I should start doing?

What is the relationship like between Indians and Pakistanis in the UK?

Here in the US, it seems from my experiences like second generation Indians and Pakistanis generally get along very well, and first gen immigrants generally keep to their own communities. How is it like in the UK? Is there much intermingling between second/third gen Indians and Pakistanis? What about first generation immigrants? How about Bangladeshis?

Is Messi still the best player in the world?

After incredible performances in each match of the World Cup and leading the tournament in goals scored, is Messi still the best player? I realize Argentina hasn't played any top ranked opponents, but his production has been as elite as ever. Also, if he still has so much game at 39, why is he in MLS and not in some top league in Europe? If you don't think he's the best where would you say he ranks? Also, do ya'll really think he's much worse than he was in 2022?

How can we maintain good habits and discipline when stressors arise in our life?

I find myself being able to stay consistent to good habits when life is going well, but whenever some stressor/difficulty comes up, I fall back into the same old bad habits (scrolling social media, eating junk foods, etc.), as they feel more comfortable and give me an escape from the stress. My level of self-restraint goes down. How can I stay consistent to the habits I'm building even when the inevitable stressors come up?

I love seeing others happy

Just saw a picture of some people on hanging out on social media, and for some reason just found myself smiling so hard. I don't know these people, and there was nothing outwardly amazing about the picture. But, seeing them happy and together made me feel something. I just love life, and I love this amazing world. God bless everyone, and I hope everyone makes it through whatever issues they are going through.
