Not sure where to go from here

Hello everyone. Just to start this off ive never been too good at sports. As a kid I never really had drive to get better as I'd just constantly be bad and it would bring me down more and more as I see others better than me.
But 4 months ago I wanted to start kickboxing for a few different reasons. I wanted to learn to defend myself and others, practice discipline, and overall just get good at something physical. But four months later and I still don't feel confident whatsoever. My buddy who joined a month ago already has it all down. I know, four months isn't a long time, but I have been surrounded by friends who can pick up a sport so quick that I just don't understand how l can even become better. I am not confident in my form and my jabs/crosses. Every session my coaches correct me on one thing after another and it feels like my brain can't fully lock it in. Has anyone gone through this where they feel they are stuck and want to get better but feel no progress is being made? I want to get better and be better and be more athletic and not give up like how I would as a kid

A big reason I loved the games, primarily the first, was because of the atmosphere and vibe and the overall warmth it gave you. Everything from the visuals to the music was amazing and nostalgic for me. So after watching the movie, I was disappointed, but not surprised, that the movie chose to be more fast-paced and action packed with less musical references. So now I wanted to try writing a show script surrounding Lubba and his starship, buddied with two other Lumas, exploring the galaxies that were from the games and more. I’d call it Lubba’s Galaxy. A cozy and chiller vibe to match the games a bit more but not full on kids show.

Would anybody be interested in this idea and reading what I got?
