TD aeroplan visa infinite

I’m considering getting this visa, mostly for the perk of getting free checked luggage for my family of three. I currently already booked a trip for October… does anyone know if I get the visa now, can this perk apply to that trip that is already booked? Thanks in advance!

Uppababy Minu

I have the Uppababy Cruz V2 that we have been using for the last 6 months, and baby loves it. We’ve done stroller naps in it, even in loud places like the mall. We recently got the Minu V3 with the intention of using it as a daily stroller since it fits better in the trunk of my little car. But I’m finding that LO really fights naps in it, and in fact has yet to sleep in it when we’re out. Anyone else have this experience? Is the Minu that uncomfortable? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

5 am wakes

We did Ferber with my LO about a month ago, and that has been great. He is now 5 months and he will put himself to sleep without any crying, wake up once at night to feed. Sometimes he’ll wake up and put himself back to sleep at night. The problem is that about 3-4 weeks ago, he started waking up at 5 am and nothing we’ve tried seems to be able to get him to sleep in more… pre-Ferber he was going until at least 6:30 am.

WW are usually around 2-2.25 h long depending on how exhausted he is, with the last WW before bedtime 2.5-3h. He has between 3-4 naps per day depending on how early he wakes and how long his naps are. Total nap time is between 2.75-3.25h/day. Bedtime routine starts between 6:30-6:45 and he’s usually asleep by around 7:20.

We’ve tried having his first nap of the day no earlier than 7:30 based on some advice we saw online and this really made no difference. I’m not sure if our schedules are off but truly I can’t push his WW more, he is exhausted and will fall asleep immediately for naps most of the time.

Any suggestions? I’m just worried he’s not getting enough nighttime sleep and also waking up at 5 am every day is not fun for us… thanks in advance!

What happens after Ferber?

We are on night 5 of Ferber, but baby has done well so far. The first night we had 25 mins of crying, down to 2 mins, then very little to no crying at bedtime subsequently. He’ll wake once at night to do a feed, and maybe another 1-2 times otherwise but he puts himself right back to sleep after fussing for a few minutes.

My question is this: I know that at some point we’ll run into teething, illness, overtired, under tired, looked at baby wrong, etc. What check in interval do we use then? Do we start at the beginning of Ferber, or wait 10 mins? I don’t feel good about waiting 20-30 mins per the day 7 of Ferber, so curious to know what others do….
