I lose all motivation when I have free time. [DISCUSSION]

When I’m out of the house, at work, doing something else either work or pleasure, I can think about all I need to and want to get done at home and how easy it will be. I feel motivated and ready to tackle the disorganized closet, the piles of laundry, my overgrown yard, etc. but when the time comes that I’m home with that free time I have no motivation, I’m not able to take action, I feel stuck, and all of that clarity and motivation I felt before is completely gone.

It feels like a convenient excuse or it seems obvious like “duh, of course you don’t want to clean house/study/etc” but I DO. When I’m not home I will literally daydream about it and feel excited to be productive. But by the time I get home, or when I wake up on Saturday morning, it’s like molasses has been poured on my brain and I lay around feeling stressed that I’m not able to get anything done.

Anyone else dealt with or dealing with this? Is there some kind of a term, name, or method for approaching this?

I have been diagnosed recently with ADHD but I’m taking medication for that and for depression, which feel under control mostly. I have projects and things that I’ve wanted to get done for YEARS that are still in limbo.

Best older trucks for a cheap weekend beater?

I’m looking for an older truck to use as a weekend beater—probably something from the mid-1990s to mid-2000s. I’d like to keep the price around a couple thousand dollars if possible. I understand that a truck in this price range will probably need some work upfront.

Most of what I’m seeing on Facebook Marketplace has anywhere from 150,000 to well over 300,000 miles. I know certain engines and drivetrains handle high mileage better than others, especially if they’ve been maintained - I just don't know how many miles truly are too many.

Realistically, I’d only drive it a couple of times a month, mostly around town. It might occasionally be used for a longer trip to pick something up or as a backup if my daily driver is in the shop.

Does anyone have recommendations for specific generations, years, engines, or models that tend to be good buys? I’d also appreciate warnings about anything that should be avoided completely.

Ideally, I’d like something smaller, such as a Toyota T100, older Tacoma, Nissan Hardbody, or something similar, but I’m open to pretty much anything if it has a reputation for being reliable.

I’m not planning to modify it heavily, take it off-road, or make it a restoration project. I understand that a truck in this price range will probably need some work upfront. I’m mainly trying to avoid buying an ugly lawn ornament.

What would you look for, and what would you stay away from?

Guy looking for some unusual(?) LHR advice

I am a pretty hairy male, and generally, I don't want to be "hairless". Some of my body hair I feel very content with (i.e. chest, legs) but I feel like my hair growth pattern is "inconsistent" and there are some parts of body where the hair transitions away from what I consider socially acceptable to gross (my upper arms and back, mostly). I don't shave any of it b/c I don't want to deal with the maintenance but I also will not be shirtless around anyone for fear of being offensive. If you've seen Movie 43, I feel like my shoulders look like the hairy kid from the white team (Go to 4:24 for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTEpHeN8jhE)

I also don't know / understand how I can can transition between the hairy parts of the body to shaved without it looking unnatural.

I'm wondering if this is something that could be treated with laser hair removal? Is this a "normal" request, that is, to merely reduce the amount of hair in certain area(s) and/or to be able to eliminate hair from certain areas without the transition being obvious?
