New to this

Hello everyone,

I am in the process to be diagnosed, my colonoscopy and endoscopy biopsy came back with higher than normal Mast Cell, so I have an appointment on Friday. Let's see.

Anyway, my question is: what do you guys drink besides water? Soda, lemonade, gatorade, anything that comes ready and has fake sugar, citric acid, or any kind of preservative makes me extremely sick. For over a month I am only drinking water and coffee in the morning.

What do you usually drink and doesn't make you feel like you are going to die?

Thanks!!

Super new to this and I am super lost

I posted this question on the other subreddit, and I thought i would ask here as well.

My partner is about to start the process to enter the air force as O-3. We are same sex couple (females) and married for almost 10 years. I am not from the USA (I am a USA citizen tho) and my country is definitely not based in military or relies in Military, we do have it but it is not near huge like here.

I live in the USA since 2010, but never learned anything about military life, all I know it is huge here.

My question is for people who were already married for a long time when partner joined the military. How was the transition? How hard was for your relationship? What was the biggest challenges? How long took you to overcome them? Did you do therapy? Or was easy and no issue?

I would love to see other people's experience.

Thank you so much.

Edit to add the Not: "and my country is definitely not based in military or"

Referral in Seattls

Hello everyone,

I got my colonoscopy and endoscopy results back, and the biopsy showed an higher than normal number of master cells. I went to the rheumatologist yesterday and he doesn't know how to diagnose for that, but he is helping me with other things.

He just called giving me the referral for a allergist that diagnose that, I called but they are booked up until September, and I have to call in June to maybe get an initial appointment in September.

Anyway, anyone in Western Washington, anywhere, knows a doctor that can diagnose that, so I can call see if they have appointments and call my rheumatologist to ask for a referral? I am desperately at this point.

Thanks!!

Extremely new to this. What did I do wrong?

Hello everyone,

First of all, I am ESL, sorry for the grammar mistakes.

I am super new to this. I never had a copper cookware or pan in my life. I usually read the tips in this sub, and yesterday I tried 2 of them, and I guess I failed miserably.

Yesterday I used salt + lime juice, and the pan was looking shiny, but the black part didn't come off, so I tried the ketchup and I left on it overnight, and now it looks like this and the black still not coming off.

What did I do wrong? And how can I fix my pan? Did I destroy it?

Thanks for your help!!

I want to create this post to say a huge THANK YOU to the user u/Cheap-Disk-6505.

I was looking to buy the game puck from the last game, because I am from Brazil and we don't have hockey, and hockey means so much to me and part of my life. Hockey helped me go through a hard part of my life, cheering to the Silvertips, then Kraken was the only good part of my day for so long, and now Torrent is where I am finding community again.

I created a post looking for the game puck to buy because I collect every puck from professional hockey that I go to, and I couldn't get to the arena on time that day to buy one.

The user u/Cheap-Disk-6505 offered to give me the puck, and didn't want any money, they straight up gave me the puck. I have no words to appreciate it, I almost cry when I saw the puck.

And they said: This is what community is for! And hell yeah it is.

Thank you so so much, I will never forget this.

Anyone local that was at the Torrent game willing to sell their game puck from today? We always collect them from each game we attend but couldn't get one today as we got a little lost in trying to access the link. Maybe you bought two and are willing to part with one? Thanks for the consideration in helping our tradition.
