Overwhelmed by the ammount of film simulation and

Hey all, how are you?

I'm pretty new on the fuji/film recipes world and I'm completely overwhelmed by the amount of film recipes and the simulations. I would appreciate some tips on how to choose wisely, and moreover, don't loose that perfect shot because of the indecision on which sims to choose.

What do you think when choosing which recipe will be uploaded or deleted from your camera? You look for a balance to make them versitile for instance?

Any help would be great!

Important info: I shoot JPEG and i'm not realy interested for the moment in shooting raw and post-procesing the images

Book Recommendations

Hey All!

I'll be traveling to vietnam by the end of the year, and before getting there I would love to read more books on the country, either fiction or non-fiction. Specially local authors.

Do you guys have book recommendations for me?

New Years EVE in Chiang Mai?

Hey everyone!

Me and 3 other friends will spend our NYE in Thailand and we're having a hard time deciding where exactly. What we know is that on Jan 2nd we'll be flying to Hanoi, so ideally this NYE should be in a place with direct flight to Hanoi, or at least close to one.

THinking about this we thought going to Chiang Mai should be a great option, but we would like to know more about NYE there. We would like to know how's the city during this special day. Do the bars and restaurants stay open until late? Is there some parties going on (either private or in the streets)? We saw some pics of the Lantern Festival but for the price it looked like a tourist trap. Are there nice alternatives in town for the night of the 31st?

Thank you so much for you help!!

Buying a Wedding Gift For My Best Friend

Hi Everyone! I'm heading to turkey in a couple of days. A huge friend of mine is getting married at the end of the year and I wan't to bring his wedding gift from turkey. Do you guys have suggestions on what to buy and store recomendations? I want to spend maximum US$300,00.
I was thinking about buying him and his wife a kit with two nice bath robes and maybe some artisanal soaps. Do you think is a good idea? And do you have suggestions on where to find it?
On a side note, I'll be visiting Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir, Konya and Eskisehir, but idealy I would like to buy the gift in Istanbul

Thank you heaps!
