Why do I often get told I'm intimidating?

So I (F) have gotten told by more than a few friends and acquaintances that when they first met me, they were intimidated by me, or even thought I didn't like them.

I find that really weird, because I think I'm a pretty extroverted and friendly person. I like meeting people and making friends. I want people to feel comfortable around me, I like making an effort to make people feel included, and I'm definitely not particularly physically intimidating either. I've asked what made them feel that way, but they usually kind of shrug it off and say that they don't know, or sometimes that it's fine because I wasn't intimidating "in a bad way".

I'd like to get some insight so I can keep this in mind and hopefully have better first impressions from here on out ♥️

It's confirmed, the older styles were too expensive

I figured, but it's not cool they tried to paint it as though Lorebook compatibility was the only reason at first. It definitely makes sense that the new models are cheaper ones.

I understand that running all the models we had was costly, and that the new features might not be compatible with them. However, simply put, Pipsqueak 2 and Deepsqueak are not currently high enough quality or adaptable enough to different styles of roleplay to be the only two models available.

Pipsqueak and Deepsqueak excel at long and descriptive roleplay with good memory. This also, though, comes at the cost of stilted or reduced dialogue, over-explaining and focusing on small details, and lots of references to a character's details over actually staying in-character when talking.

For users that prioritize natural sounding dialogue and in-character conversations over long descriptions, which the other models excel at over Pip and Deepsqueak, losing every style but those two makes roleplay incredibly difficult. It takes away the variation we were able to have in our chats before and forces us into a roleplay style we don't enjoy.

This problem could be easily avoided by simply preserving one of the old conversation-focused models until we have a better one to fill its niche, and the fan favorite seems to be, overwhelmingly, Soft Launch. This style would supplement the dialogue side of roleplay on c.AI and allow people who prefer less description and more conversation to continue to roleplay.

I really hope this feedback is taken into account going forward. Thanks for the consideration.
