Looking for a kinda risky blind buy

Same as header, looking to get one kinda risky blind buy, budget around 5k. Some perfumes I had on my mind -

  • Swiss Arabian: Soul of Bali - Intrigued by the notes and online reviews, I also read it not blind buy safe but the performance and notes are tempting me.
  • French Avenue: Amber Empire - Just want to know what amber smells like
  • Mykonos: Sorreto and Reflection Elixir - Something fresh perhaps?

These are perfumes from my collection that I really like if that is any help -

  • JPG Paradise Garden, Azzaro TMWI, Lataffa Jasoor, Rayhaan Lion, Marwa, Atlantis Extrait

Some perfumes that I own and dislike -

  • Hawas Ice, Cool Water, Al Dirgham

Im leaning the most heavily into the Soul of Bali but am also looking at other option from their Cities collection. What do y'all think?

Looking for a Private Line/Niche Fragrance for Myself

Have my birthday next week and probably going to get promoted soon. Looking for a special occasion memorable fragrance (anniversaries, weddings, interviews lol, and any other special occasions you can think of) but something slightly on the safer side. Would prefer to try before I buy, and have a Maison des Perfumes nearby (if that is any help). Also have an Amouage, Dior, YSL and Chanel store to try out fragrances. Can be Niche or Private Line, or don't even mind designers or clones if you think it is worth it.

Budget: Around 20K, can maybe stretch a bit but not optimal. Also I am 25 if that's any help

Collection (Designer): JPG le Beau Paradise Garden, Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP Intense and YSL Y EDP. Have quite a few middle eastern fragrances I am actively trying to finish as I probably bought too many.

Perfumes Already tried: Xerjoff Naxos (not a big fan), Mancera Fig me Up (kinda liked the smell but disappeared as soon I sprayed something else), some blue collar Bdk Perfume (did not like), Amouage Interlude Black Iris (liked how it smelled but I felt its too aged for me). Erba Pura (liked but did not feel like an expensive perfume) and Dior Purple Oud or Oud Isapahan (unsure which one it was, did not try on skin but liked the smell)

Open to any and all opinions, was recommended Amouage Jubiliation Man XXV and Reflection so gonna give them a try. Don't want anything animalic, something comparatively safe that won't get me kicked out of places please. Also please let me know where I can get these fragrances for cheaper (Dior Private Line starts from 45K in store)

Academic Profile and Expectations -7/7/7 GNEM Male

Hey folks,
Need some help figuring out my MBA path in India.
Profile:
Non‑engineering male

7/7/7 academics (10th/12th/UG)

3+ years of work experience

Current package ~16 LPA

I’ve been told (Vercel) that I should be targeting 99+ percentile to get into the top schools (any ai research and college alumni at my workplace said 97+ should be fine but I’m going with the higher number). I’m fine with grinding for CAT, and also open to putting in the effort for GMAT if that opens up better options.
The dilemma is whether it makes sense to go for a Tier‑2 or below MBA when I’m already at 16 LPA. I’ve seen friends go abroad and then have to come back, so I’d prefer to stay in India.
What I’m trying to figure out:
With this profile, which colleges should I realistically aim for if I hit 99+?

Is a Tier‑2 MBA even worth it in my situation?

Any other colleges/exams I should be looking at apart from CAT/GMAT?

Would love to hear from people who’ve been in a similar spot or know the landscape well.
Disclaimer: I used Copilot to polish up this draft because my thoughts were all over the place.

Card Recommendations

I’ll be earning 1 LPA from July onwards, and was thinking about how to optimise my card portfolio. Any thoughts and recommendations will be really appreciated-

HDFC - Moneyback + and the OG Swiggy Card
HSBC Liv +
AU Ixigo
Axis MyZone
Amex MRCC

Out of these cards, I have the kept the Amex only for the rewards points that I already have saved ( around 70k, downgraded from the Plat Travel last year after the milestone change) and the AU card because I had planned a foreign trip which did not end up happening. The only reason I have the Moneyback is that it’s my first card, and I got the axis with the hopes of upgrading to a horizon or similar card in the future.

Now I recently had a word with my HDFC RM, and she said with my salary I should be able to get a Regalia Gold, which would mean that I would no longer require the Axis card as my travel spends would move to the regalia instead, and also close my Swiggy card and try for a Marriott Bonvoy in a couple of months. Thing is , my current limit on my HDFC card is just 65K, and I’m not very trusting of my RM if I’m being very honest. Do you guys think that what I’m planning to do is actually feasible? Also in general what do you think of my portfolio?

My biggest expenses are dining (71k) general shopping (66k) and travel (28k) (in that order). I regularly hit my milestones on the Amex card too. Closing the Swiggy card might help cut down on my food expenses (copium). Also have a lot of travel planned end of the year, a big electronics purchase and possibly a foreign trip.

Half and Full Marathon Shoe Recommendations

Hi,

I have registered for a Half Marathon in September, was looking for a running shoe recommendation (I’ll go and try shoes in store anyway, but every sales person so far been completely useless except for one asics store). I also plan on running a full one in January.

I currently have the Novablast 5s, and kinda enjoy running in them, but have concerns about whether they will last till then ( I’ve read a lot about durability issues in the those shoes and due to my weight I’m a prime candidate for them wearing out quicker than usual). Not the quickest runner, but would like to know what you guys would recommend for a marathon effort and some training. Details below -

Weight - 92Kg
Height - 6’2
10K Time - 1 hour 5 mins

I plan on getting the shoes around July and integrate them into my training so that I’m used to them by the day of the event. Don’t really have any preference between plated and non-plated (my pace probably doesn’t justify a plated shoe anyway). Primary concern with current shoe is that it might wear out too close to the race and I might have to run it with either worn out or brand new shoes. For some context, I run 5ks twice a week and plan on adding a 10k as preparation for the half marathon.
