For fans of older animation, someone linked this in r/boutiquebluray, and I thought it'd be worth sharing here. It's a kickstarter for a blu-ray release of silent animation such as Aesop's Fables, Mutt and Jeff, Farmer Alfalfa, Koko the Clown, Oswald the Lucky Rabit, Felix the Cat and more!

Just pledged this morning; I'm always fond of supporting projects like this (have previously donated to Deaf Crocodile's Kickstarters as well as the one for Cloud Door that unfortunately didn't meet goal), and they've got until this Saturday June 13th to raise about $2500 more. You can get three blu-ray collections for $75, but I shelled out an extra twenty for a poster and a pin. Hope this is okay to post.

What are you getting from the Partners Only sale/releases? If you've already seen some of the titles before, what do you think of them?

For new releases, I got The Films of Pierre Creton, A New Love In Tokyo, and The Other French New Wave. For the sale items, I got Leather Boys, Shit & Champagne, Krazee Kids Video Party, Yule Log, Curious Dr. Humpp, and The Underworld of Hideo Gosha.

Theeb, Happyend, Crimson Gold, To A Land Unknown, and Diane all look pretty good but I can't justify non-sale prices for that many items.

What kind of marinade and/or rub do you use for your patties, if you do so?

Me I like a little dash of worcestershire sauce, some garlic salt, black pepper, bourbon brown sugar, and chipotle seasoning. Always looking out for new ideas though. You?
