Hey everyone, I'm Sumit, a software engineer working in Ahmedabad. I've been reading this sub for a while and really like it.

About the title, yes I've never been in a relationship. There's no big reason for it. I guess I'm a bit of an introvert. Even in school and college, I was the guy who enjoyed spending time alone. Making friends only really started for me when I moved to the hostel during graduation. That was my first time stepping out of my comfort zone and meeting new people. I'm really glad I had those friends around me.

During college, I didn't feel the need for a relationship. Studies felt like enough, and I didn't have much time or money for it. I did make some female friends though during those four years.

Now I'm working and most of my friends are far away and busy with their lives. I see so many people in relationships, some in long distance, some close by, and even a few who got engaged. It makes me feel like I missed something. The loneliness I used to enjoy doesn't feel good anymore. Now it's more like I'm missing out on something important.

I have so much I want to talk about but no one here in my daily life to share it with. Is it just me who feels this way? Is 23 too late to find someone?
