Relationship feels more romantic/affectionate than sexual?

I've not been out that long, about two years now. I've been in a relationship for that time too, and while it's great and we still have a lot of physical chemistry, I notice my bf is like really asexual these days. I spoke to him before about this when we had a lul and he apologised, which I said was okay but said I was concerned he might be asexual or not that into me, he profusely said it was a him thing that he needs to work on due to his body image/issues.

I don't really know how to deal with this, I sort have fully now read him as someone with low libido in general, but we go weeks without sex, and even when we do it, it kinda feels like it's about me rather than him. Like I think he would be totally content in the relationship with zero sex, which I don't fully understand.

I think because this is my first real relationship and I've not been out that long, I get a kind of FOMO feeling in terms of not having good sex. And by that I mean like with a partner I love (him). I don't think I am a fan of hookups etc and couldn't see myself ever using Grindr or whatever.

Anyways, advice would be great.

Do you sleep? Does your employer account for air raids?

I understand not everyone deals with air raids constantly, but for those who do, do you sleep? Are you expected to get up for work regardless? How does that part of life work?

Anywhere that does Mr. Whippy for reasonable prices?

Really craving Mr. Whippy ice cream. Fuck knows why, been eating a lot of independent ice cream from nice places like La Gelatessa, Peacocks etc but just mad craving a old fashioned Mr. Whippy Ice cream with raspberry sauce and a flake. Even better an ice cream snowball with Mr. Whippy. Those vans do it in the parks but it's a fucking absolute rip off.

What would be cheapest/average price for a run-around in 2026?

About ten years ago you could get one for about £800 here in Scotland. I'm talking about a near end of life cheap car that is used only for random things like Ikea trips, going on day trips etc. Not commuting or regular use. Maybe maximum 500/1000 miles a year.

What would be a realistic budget for this nowadays? I see ones for about £1500 but is this considered too good to be true?

How to get rid of electrical waste if you don't have a car nor live near a major recycling centre?

Hi all, anyone know of anywhere in the Southside that I can dispose of electrical waste that isn't Polmadie? I don't live near Polmadie and it would be a several mile walk carrying numerous items.

Guys who came out later, did it feel like you had to rebuild your life?

It was really difficult internally for me but I managed to come out to my family last year at 29, after about 10 years of really struggling with my sexuality. I've been to therapy and it did help me with coming out, but this specific issue isn't really a therapy thing.

My friends, my closest friends, are people I've known since about age 10. To me it's kinda like a dysfunctional family, I like them but in many ways they are toxic and hurt my growth. Only one of them in the group has really grown up, the rest still talk about people we were at highschool with and basically have never grown up.

Part of what made me scared of coming out was a feeling I'd lose everything, but I still haven't really came out to this particular group of people and I feel like I'm not sure if I even want to. But I do feel like leaving them will be like trying to reset my life/start from scratch.

I'm not sure how to deal with this, does anyone have any advice?

Can you call 999 on the neds on electric dirtbikes flying about?

Keep seeing teenage neds flying through traffic lights in the Southside on those electric bikes, is it a 999 thing? Genuinely mental and extremely dangerous.

How long after coming out do you get used to it all?

It took me a long time to fully work up the courage to tell people I'm gay, I told my family just before I turned 30 and thankfully, everything's been great with them. Them finding out was my biggest nightmare but I managed it because the thought of hitting 30 and not telling them was eating me too much.

I've not told my friends because my mental health went downhill after coming out to my family, not because of their reaction but because I had just burst essentially. I just felt on edge all the time and started having constant panic attacks. It's got better with medication and now after getting some normality back, the thought of coming out to them and then the stress, anxiety etc after is putting me off.

I still feel on edge a lot around my sexuality. My family are really great, they are closer to me now than I've ever been, but when they talk about my dating life, my sexuality or even other gay men in general; I get this freeze feeling. I usually change the subject or just avoid the subject entirely. Does that get easier with time? I also feel that with calling myself gay. I just feel so fucking weird about it. It was something I hid for so long and now I'm saying it out loud and it just really makes my skin crawl.

Does this all get better with time? The anxiety and panic attacks? I feel really alone with this all, I have a partner but he was in his words 'never not out' so he doesn't really get it; even though he is patient and understanding. I just want to feel normal. Like I want to call myself gay or be seen as gay and not have that tense feeling.

Why are the second humps so tall?

The second hump is always taller than the first one. I have dizzyness and lightheadedness but doctors can't find anything. Ventricular hypertrophy? I was an endurance athlete but taking a break for a few months due to severe dizzyness and heart palpitations.
