Did Johnny Sac deserve a cut??

In season four episode 10, when Tony is accosted by Johnny sac, who’s furious that Tony didn’t cut him into their HUD real estate scam, does Johnny have a right to be mad? Tony’s the boss of NJ and the housing project is in Newark. Does Tony have to kick up to NY in everything he does? I guess I’m asking how the mob works lol.

"Men want her, and women want to be her."

It exposed the cracks in old school Madison Avenue thinking. It shows that the men running the world are beginning to lose touch with the changing American consciousness, while Peggy, the one who actually "solves problems" is the one who truly sees where the culture is heading.

Why the last episode ruined Mad Men for me!!!

I must have been 14 or 15 and my family was pretty poor, we couldn’t afford the luxury of cable or streaming sites so let’s just I FOUND a way to watch the whole series online. Anyways, I’m finally watching the last episode and it ended with Don giving his car away. I was floored to say the least. It felt like he was letting go of Don Draper and starting over again with nothing. It made an impression on that young man watching that I think was for the better.

Years go by.

I’m with my partner and we love to binge watch shows, she’s never see Mad Men so we decide that it’ll be the next one up after we finish GOT or maybe The Sopranos, I can’t remember. We get through the whole series, we watch the finale where I keep glancing over at my girl to see her reaction of Don starting over again. Credits roll, we’re about to get into a deep post episode discussion when at the bottom right of the screen a little rectangle shows up with the word “Next Episode”

…….

I died a little on the inside that day. 😂😂😂

The key moment, he said, came when he realized that he was a Jelly Roll, and that he was married to a Bunny

Would Tony go to jail or KHS

Basically title. I wonder if Tony never had the makings of a life long convict. I dont think hed ever turn rat, but given his depressive episodes i wonder if he’d choose death before both dishonor AND discomfort. What do you think?

What must it be like to be a Nets fan right now?

Are there even any left? Or have they by now come to see the error of their ways

Foreshadowing I never noticed in S1 Ep 7

I just started a rewatch and got to Season 1, Episode , the episode with AJ stealing the communion wine. It's one of the first times the show really digs into Tony's sense of responsibility for AJ's behavior, while also examining the roles Johnny Boy and Livia played in shaping Tony himself.
My wife and I always remark that, relatively speaking (especially compared to someone raised by an absentee/abusive parent), Tony genuinely seems to be trying to break the cycle and be a better father. He's leaps and bounds better than his dad and especially better than Livia, though, to be fair, Pol Pot would be better than Livia.
Quoting her, I actually said out loud, "Tony would never smother his own child."
At which point we both started laughing.
Because of course he does. He smothers his symbolic son, Christopher. In a sense, he ends up doing something even worse than Livia: not metaphoricallu passing his damage on, but literally destroying him. Bravo, Chase!

Frequency (2000)

Incredible movie. Sort of a twilight zone premise with an early aughts action scene. Killer performances from the two leads. And it has a tomato meter of 70?? Do they do it out of 60??

I think Trudy is an underrated beauty on this show.
