I need to pick a company for low volume injection molding for a small run of sensor housings (700-1500) with snap tabs, screw bosses and a cosmetic front face. Ive found Quickparts, Protolabs, Xometry, Fictiv and a few local molders. Im a little confused about how tooling changes and feedback works. Definitely need the parts to be consistent. Also mold quality, pricing, lead time and communication for adjustments if the first samples are off matter a good amount. Which company is better for a first low volume run?

Took about 2 years of slowly upgrading but finally feels like a real workspace. Added a 4 post mainly for storage and it completely changed how usable the space is. Still a work in progress but it’s getting there. How long did it take you all to get your garages to the point where you felt like you could let other people in there?

I’ve been thinking more about where I shop, and it feels like most brands lean either very style focused or very ethics focused. I am having a hard time finding brands that fit my aesthetic that won't force me to compromise on my morals.

In terms of personal style, I really like the way Hailey Bieber, Dakota Johnson and Zoe Kravitz all dress. Like clean girl but with a little bit of a boho/rock n roll edge, and some vintage inspired pieces or silhouettes thrown in every once in a while. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to shop that fit this general style, are not fast fashion, and are at least somewhat transparent about their material sourcing and labor practices?

Is it even possible to find brands that have all of these qualities?

Quick question from someone helping their parents with a bathroom update. My parents live just outside Grand Rapids and I’ve been looking into companies that do shower conversions. I keep seeing New Bath Today mentioned but then you also see the usual internet debate about liners vs full replacements. Has anyone around west michigan actually looked into them or gotten quotes?
