Anyway. Hi! My name is René, I’m 30, my pronouns are they/them, my timezone is GMT, and I’ve been roleplaying online since I was 11. I also play a lot of TTRPGs and run some of my own games. I love collaborating with others and I really love building worlds with other people. I write in the third person, and I enjoy rich storytelling so ideally I’m looking for people that favour detail in their roleplay posts. 

Right now I’m on a big A Song of Ice and Fire kick. Westeros contains some of my favourite fictional characters and favourite pieces of fantasy worldbuilding. If you’re interested in Westeros, I do actually have quite a few characters I’d love to use if you wanted to do a roleplay in that setting. If not? That’s good too! 

I am looking for someone who:

• Is close to me in age. I’d rather roleplay with people who are 25+ since I’m 30!
• Writes in the third person and is capable of literate and/or novella posts. 
• Enjoys worldbuilding and is capable of creating whole countries and families.
• Is open to exploring a variety of characters and dynamics.
• Creates varied characters of different personalities rather than sticking to the same archetype.
• Genuinely cares about their rp partner’s characters and gets invested in the story.
• Doesn’t really care about faceclaims. I don’t mind if you want to use them, but I find them very limiting when creating characters myself. 
• Doesn’t have a history of ghosting people.

Essentially I’d like to find someone who wants to build a world with me, and I’d love for us to have numerous characters and plotlines over time. 

Some ideas I’m interested in right now:

• A political marriage between rival families or rival throne claimants.
• Prince/Princess or King/Queen x knight or jester. 
• Rebellious princess being sent to ward in a different kingdom by her exasperated mother. 
• Scheming courtly politics and intrigue. 
• Highborn x Lowborn.
• Knights and tourneys. 
• Dragonriders.
• Magic. Bonus points for ancient, wealthy magical dynasties.

Hopefully all of this makes sense! Basically I’m just itching for a long-term fantasy roleplay with someone who likes to worldbuild and who would enjoy fleshing out a cast of characters within that world. Equally, I’d be so down for some ASoIaF roleplay! If Westeros is what you’re interested, you neeeed to tell me your favourite characters though. I’m ride or die for Theon Greyjoy, and I’ll say right now that I’ve been an Aegon II Targaryen supporter since day one. 

Westeros roleplay I’d be interested in:

• Bracken x Blackwood. Obviously. 
• Targaryen OCs or dragonseeds during the Dance of the Dragons. 
• Rival knights. It’s a classic for a reason. 
• Literally anything set during the canon events of the series.

For myself, I’d likely make OCs belonging to/associated with Houses Bolton, Bracken, Cassel, Celtigar, Clegane, Dondarrian, Florent, Greyjoy, Hightower, Lannister, Manderly, Reed, Royce, Strong, or Targaryen. 

I’m open to the possibility of canon characters as well, though it truly depends on who they are and what you’d have in mind. I’d prefer for our OCs to take centre stage but I’m flexible. 

Regarding character gender, I enjoy playing all genders. If you’re someone who only plays one gender, I’m not sure if we’d necessarily be a good fit unless you’re okay with exploring LGBT relationships too! I like MxM, FxF, and MxF equally. So long as the dynamic is interesting, I’m happy. Just please don’t pigeonhole me into playing only one type of character.
