Why is the first chapter so difficult to write? I’ll start on it and scroll off, write some more, and scroll off again. It’s driving me crazy because I want to write but I’m struggling to write!
I (19F) made a post about a bank teller at the bank I cash my checks. From this post and forward I’m gonna call her S.
Last Wednesday I went in to cash my check like normal and the teller was there. S was the next free teller to I went up and give her everything needed to cash the check. There was a bit of small talk about me starting an account and S asked if I wanted to set an appointment to start the account. I agreed and she scheduled the appointment.
Fast forward to this Wednesday (today), I show up and there S was in the lobby. She told me I could take a seat while I wait on the person who was helping set up the account. While I waited there was some more small talk but not about banking. She asked how my weekend was, asked me some questions about my job, etc. a coworker of hers came over and looked at the iPad S was holding, read my name, and looked up at me. The coworker repeated my name to me and I told her yes. S then told her something along the lines of “She is the one I was telling you about that I was excited to help get an account started.”
Now as short as this seemed this was like an almost 20 minute or longer interaction. Finally the guy who is helping me set up the account appears and I follow him. After we completed everything I went to cash my check but I looked around the room for S and she wasn’t there. I assumed she left for the day and went home.
Idk if I’m just reading too much into this or what.. This is all I have for now. I do have to cash my paycheck tomorrow however, I’m unsure if she’ll be there.
I have no one to talk to about this loll!
(Also I realized I may have over aged her in my original post. She’s definitely somewhere between 22-26)
I (19F) started living with my dad a few months ago after not living with him since him and my mother divorced in 2017. When I came to live with my dad his sister was in my room and her daughter was in my sisters room meaning I was forced to stay in my little brothers room.
Long story short my dad’s sister finally left about almost 2 months ago and I finally got my room back. However his sister’s daughter is still here and she’s getting on my nerves!
She takes her own tissue in and out of the bathroom meaning I’m always restocking the tissue that’s in the bathroom because I’m the only one using it. She constantly takes my body wash and body scrubs out the shower, etc.
A few minutes ago I complained to my dad about it and he didn’t agree with me that it’s wrong for her to keep taking my items out of the shower. He always does this. He never agrees with me and always turns everything into a lecture.
I love my dad but this drives me nuts. Not every simple conversation needs to be a lecture. Sometimes I just want to talk and be heard.
I (19F) had a customer come into my job (a coffee shop that I will not name) with a translator and dream. He spoke into his translator while my coworker took the order and it was such a fun interaction!
When he asked for coffee I held up all our sizes, when he wanted cream I listed the numbers in Spanish (I speak very minimal Spanish but can count, and speak basic greeting).
This truly made my day 🤗!
I (19F) am heavily attracted to one of the bank tellers (Late 20F-Early 30F) at the bank where I cash my checks. I visit this bank weekly because my job doesn’t have direct deposit (which is sometimes a huge pain).
The first time I saw her she and the other bank teller were both busy with customers and I was next in line. I immediately clocked that she was attractive but I didn’t think much of it because I didn’t think she’d finish up with her customer first. Anyway, I’m next and I go to counter. She takes my items, cashes my check, and hands me the money. But just before I turn to walk away she says “Anything else I can do for you Miss [Last Name]?” with a small smile and I almost passed away 😭.
Y’all this woman was just doing her job but goddamnit the way she said that sentence made her even more attractive 😩.
I have no one to talk to about this so I’m venting about it here lol!
