Needle struggles through quilted tote bag

Wondering a new needle reccommendation.

Hello all,

I've recently made a quilted tote bag and when I sewing through all the layers for topstitching, I broke two needles trying to sew through it all, before giving up.

I was using a 80/12 Universal needle, I was wondering if there is a needle reccommendation for a needle that can go though all the layers efficiently.

Context:

I used quilting cotton and wadding for the quilting. When I was sewing the topstitching, it was roughly 5 layers (the lining, the strap, the outer as well as the wadding).

Bias Tape Never Goes Over Stitching

Hi, whenever I use bias tape, it never goes over the stitch line like i know its supposed to do, even though I am using the correct seam allowamce. Should i just make the seam allowance smaller?

Hole in Knitted Cardigan - Embroidery?

Can anyone give me some advice to fix the hole that has steadily grown since I caught it on something a while ago.

I was thinking of sewing piece of fabric underneath but I dont know if that will stop it from ripping further or come off when washing. Please any advice would be appreciated.

Bobbin Thread Trapped

Hey, I was sewing and was fine then all of a sudden , it started stalling. Upon inspection, I noticed that the bobbin thread is getting trapped under a certain part of the bobbin, this silver part. After messing around the the dial, i realised that the silver part doesnt move at all (meaning its not jammed). Ive tried rethreading both theeads multiple times but nothing. I dont why this has happened or why it hasnt happened before. Any advice would be appreciated.
