**Or do I need to bump up to the S5iiX**
I will equip with 24-60 2.8 Lumix S lens.
I enjoy shooting stories and I'm about to shoot my first feature. It will be entirely handheld.
Right now I'm touring Japan, so I have a chance to save a few pennies (for lack of warranty) and buy this kit:
S5ii $1216USD
S5iiX $1476USD
24-60 Lumix S $718USD
These are Yodobashi OTD Tax Free prices.
Thank you ^_^!!
EDIT:
For everyone saying it's story story story. Not all stories have a narrative. Not all stories have dialogue. So forget what you think my story is. Let's talk technicals.
Then go get stoned and watch: Koyaanisqatsi
My question is two fold: Is this the best bang for buck kit right now at this price point for shooting a feature film intended for theater screens? Should I look elsewhere?
Walking about town and saw this Crown Sport. Not holding my breath for the USDM version.
Lots of newer Crowns being used as taxis now, but the trim is kind of a mystery. That said, I still prefer the classic Crown Comfort series of taxi with it's RWD peppiness and fender mounted mirrors.
So, I'm in a remote part of Japan. There's this hobby shop. They got kits! Everything is more or less original retail price. **What do you choose to bring back?**
The caveat is that I'm only midway through this trip and will need to haul the kit around for about 3-weeks...
Anyone experienced this? I click through for 17,000 but the Price Summary is displaying Cash + Points to book.
