Best movement shooters for Gyro

Looking for some movement shorters that feel good to play with gyro, which either means just actually fun on a controller as well as games that support mixed input (because 360° joystick > 45°x4 8 way movement). Movement specific, so games that have high mobility, not just shooters in general. Anything that has you flying around and tracking enemies.

This thread is both me asking for recommendations, and documentating the games I've played.

  • Deadlock: starting off with the only comp game in the list. I, unironically, am better at Deadlock on controller than I ever was with MKB. After almost a year of not even turning my mouse on, gonna say, fantastic gyro game. Obviously full steam input support, you change a binding in the steam UI and it reflects in game. The new steam controller makes this shit so smooth, too.
  • Roboquest: feels really good no matter the input device, but with the music going hard you get into a sort of rhythmic groove and it being a hands first aiming system, it feels so good to just land hit after hit. 10/10 game regardless of gyro
  • Ultrakill: God damn this game feels sooooooo much better on gyro. Flying around at mach speeds and hitting those flicks is just so good, it's like theres a dopamine button inside my brain and this game just pokes it over and over again.
  • Bloodthief: Not a shooter, whatever, sue me, but this little known game is just amazing. A great idea with a great execution, it's very reminiscent of Ultrakill but entirely movement melee. Theres a few levels (specifically the one where you have to groundslam to gain enough height to fly through the window into the hallway of lava) that are extra difficult out of nowhere, but using my hands vs a joystick or mouse

Honorable mentions:

  • Deep Rock Galactic: not really a movement shooter but I play it like one by always trying to stay moving, always trying to jump over stuff always having to track and play tactically. 522 Hours overall.
  • Risk of Rain 2: same as above, only some of the characters are hyper mobile, so not a full entry. Not much to say that hasn't been said about this game. 390 hours since it came out, one of my favorites.

Advice for entry level SxS

I'm eyeing either Kawasaki Mule or the Honda 520.

I've got a friend who says to avoid Kawasaki because of the CVT said he had one and it was in the shop alot, but he pulls a boat around and I mostly use mine for traversal only occasionally hauling

My roads do have a sharp incline, and I do plan on maybe pulling a small UTV sized dump trailer around for dirt work or moving cut up trees but not often and nothing too extreme

I also specifically want a roof and a windshield, not sure if that makes a big difference, but I don't care about doors

I got 50 acres with some trails, dont care about speed

Anyway to force controller glyphs for mixed input? Trackpad and gyro as mouse

Just curious if there is a way or a mod that forced controller glyphs to always be on all the time.

The game seems to accept mixed input most of the time
