I was once a new DM, and didn’t feel super confident in painting minis and running a game. I decided to try running lost mines of Phandelver, and years later I painted a 28 mm Venomfang to remind everyone that you can do it.

Investing your time is challenging, but totally worth it. Whether you paint, draw, graphic design, or just use theater of the mind, you can run a fun game as long as you put a little of yourself into it.
