Completely tailless cat basil

My cat (4) has no tail at all, and im thankful he doesn’t have manx syndrome. He sometimes gets some poop butt but nothing major.

He is the most insane cat ive met, he approaches every stranger, tries to play with every cat, and yells for cuddles. Hes also dumb, clever but dumb. He taught himself how to throw things but still is scared when i turn on the ac for the summer and doesnt get that cats hissing at him means they are sick of him.

I know hes not purebreed by any chance he comes from a breeder but she didn’t use pure breed. Im unsure if his siblings share the mutation. But am i wrong for calling him a manx?

Boss told me to “just be quiet and let people work”

For context i couldn’t leave till he finished with all the customers in line, validated my work and i was already supposed to be clocked out 10 minutes ago, someones card declined and he kept pressing the wrong buttons for it over and over, and i was like “you gotta just delete the input” and he deleted the whole order, and then i said to the customer “our card reader is a bit finicky just give us one sec and we’ll get that up for you” then said how to do it, cause i could tell they were getting annoyed at how long it was taking, overall it added 3 minutes to the interaction (not a lot ik but our job has to be fast or we dont get bonus) for context checking someone out should be a min or less or an interaction

Anyways we leave and were reviewing everything and he said “love your energy you just really gotta stop talking and be quiet, it stresses people out, just let people do their jobs but yeah your good at your job just you gotta stop” mind you its my second day at this location, maybe i shouldn’t have assumed he couldn’t do it but like, i wanted to go home , and he genuinely was fumbling going through options and someone else was checking the card reader for mistakes , peoples card declines , it happens, a lot.

Im also a little emotional rn so i could be dramatic i was just a little peeved at the vibe, i mean maybe next time ill just stand there and not help until asked. Maybe he was referring to something from yesterday..? If so i wish he was more specific like “when you do X i prefer if you do Y” if maybe i was a little too much at my first day yesterday i would’ve loved specifics to improve

Any advice on what he ment specifically?

The new adobo sauce

I dont usually prep steak cause i hate but yk sometimes i will, the sauce is now a different color and apparently a different blend, i don’t think anyone likes it, i think it looks ugly but dont eat steak enough to tell if its different, has anyone noticed a decline?

This location is driving me nuts, were so horribly understaffed daily which i could maybe handle if anyone tried to work.

Coworkers take over a minute to bag a kids chip and im trying to get this customer out of here and they’re getting increasingly frustrated, i just see people chatting on dml and holding the chips so i march over and grab it.

I have a coworker who is so high all the time, always calls out and everyone hates him because i have to baby this 22 year old man because he cant remember what he put in a bowl five seconds ago and he will not change his gloves and does not clean unless prompted.

Im almost always on cash but yk what that means at my location? Im doing cash, line, lobby, cleaning line. I was told to just “stop changing gloves between customers” when im doing line and cash .. ew, and my SLs always go “you know on cash you really should be helping line”

Got told that “you need to care less” no i need my job hello? Im not some chipotle shill half the time if someone is doing their best i dont care but people who just giggle and go vape in the kitchen instead of helping drive me nuts! Everyone vapes in blind spots.

And i close so i have to do the whole lobby, and usually im pretty quick but our gm always wants us to leave at 10:45 (we close at 10) so keeps shouting “hurry up people!” So i do lobby, sweeping the kitchen mopping the kitchen and prepping chicken most days.

If this is like this at every store i will actually loose it

Edit: forgot to add I want the customer to have a good experience so im always friendly and smiling and some coworkers dont even greet customers, if i don’t pick up the slack it makes the customer’s experience worse and i don’t understand why we wouldn’t want them happy

Ive almost merged into another, had to slam quicker then id like ect but today was rough. Its about 11pm and im on my way home from work i go across this big bridge with three lanes i stay in the far right cause my exit is always the first one. its a 55 but i think everyone takes it 60+ im driving 65. i check my rearview cause i always get tail gated in this area and when i look back after a moment a car is-practically in front of me , they have they’re flashers but they’re definitely driving i wanna say 25-30. i slam on my breakes but im obviously coming in too fast so i swerve and almost hit the guardwall, i didnt see the car before i looked up honestly its a busy freeway but not too bad at 11. maybe i could’ve seen it quicker but i feel like it all happened so fast, im a little freaked out ive really only been driving a year
