Lunch plate vs ate

Cheesy pasta with peas, strawberries and a side of extra grated cheese.

About a 3rd of the pasta and most of the grated cheese ended up as floor casualties. I also had to manually feed him a few mouthfuls to get him started. The 12 month dip in appetite is quite the roller coaster.

Logistics of EC

So we've been able to make lazy EC work because our bathroom is big enough to have the change table in, and we just have a little seat on the actual toilet. We're likely moving soon and the places we're looking at won't have that bathroom space so we'll need to have the table elsewhere.

I just wanted to pick some brains about the logistics of how you do EC if your change table is elsewhere. Do you have little potty in the same room instead? Do you just carry them to the bathroom once you've taken the nappy off? Do you whip the nappy off somehow in the bathroom?

Tell me your wisdoms.

My cat needs all his canines removing. What do I feed him?

I'm 34, in Denmark. My two cats (brothers) have been to the vet today and we've found out they both need teeth removing. Magni only needs 3 removing but Modi needs a lot removing, including all 3 of his remaining canine teeth (one broke a few years ago). We were warned this might happen a few months ago and have been trying to prevent it but the vet said sometimes its just genetics and its unavoidable.

I'm now thinking about what food to give them, especially Modi. We were told they can eat their normal food but I'm just wary of giving them hard biscuits and/or poor quality wet food.

I feel so bad for them. They're only 6 as well.

11 month old not signaling?

Hi friends

So we've been doing lazy EC since little one was about 6 months old, basically since he could sit up confidently. He's now 11 months old and i still can't figure out any kind of pre-emptive signal. I can tell when he's pooping, but by then its too late and I've never been able to tell when he's peeing.

He can confidently stand now and i think he's close to walking so once he is I'll start doing more nappy free time just in/near the bathroom to hopefully get more consistent. Or should I start doing that now while he's still crawling?

I'm a SAHM so I'm with him all day and its starting to bother me that I can't pre-empt him still 😞

Quick addition: he has no issues being on the potty. He'll just chill out there then let me know when he wants to get up, even if he's not done anything.

Lunch plate vs ate

Scrambled eggs with broccoli, raspberries (a new fave) and a cheese stick. The raspberries went first, of course.

Must have been yummy, only a little bit ended up on the floor!

Should I block first or do ribbing first? Also how do I block something like this?

I've been working on this for almost 2 years 🙈 I wanted to get it done before my baby arrived and he's now 10 months old lol.

Anyway, its finally cardigan shaped and I'm just not sure how to go about blocking something this big/shape.

Also if anyone has any good ribbing patterns, please let me know. The one in the pattern seems a bit tricky and I've been told there are better methods.
