Last night I saw a bright blue-white pinpoint glow in my backyard above the fallen leaves at the edge of my forest. It wasn’t the yellowish glow I see higher up and deeper in the forest of our usual fireflies.

I’m really completely over the, “she popped the nugget of deliciousness into her mouth, closed her eyes and moaned as the flavor of cinnamon and unicorn farts exploded in her mouth.” I would love recommendations for cozy books that are less food oriented and more about discovery and calm adventures. Thanks!

I had no idea skunks made those sounds! Warning: Intense action and loud sounds. No skunks were visibly injured and were witnessed later in the evening feeding again at the feeders as if nothing had happened. Such is the life of a skunk...
