So early when I got into 11th PCM, I had this ego/proud that I will not go to any college other than government institutions and naturally started preparing for JEE in FIITJEE.
Soon after 2-3 months, I was humbled by my tutors, my peers, etc and realised I was not good enough, and that I didn't really want to do BTech. So I searched a lot and thought I'd do BArch. Mind you I still did not know that JEE paper 2 existed.
Fast forward to mid class 12, one day I thought to give a thorough search and found that there is another exam for BArch course. I remember it was September, I ordered a book for my preparation and started it. Then came Jan attempt, I scored 89.45 percentile only. Then boards, then April attempt, and again scored 93.69 percentile only. And now I won't even get a single government college and still I am unwilling to take a drop (I can't survive a drop year honestly).
Funny how life takes a U-turn sometimes.
Okay, so I got 83.4% in 12th (pcm), 93.69 percentile in JEE BArch (42XX rank). I didn't fill the WBJEE exam form because I know I won't be able to do a single sum. Anyways, is it possible to get admission in jadavpur university through JEE BArch score?
I have given JEE BArch and rank was 42XX. And boards result is still not out (CBSE)
Help me understand one thing. I got a rank of 4299 and there are 1400 seats in josaa. So I should not expect any govt college? Like not even in later rounds??
I know nothing about these though. I did it completely on my own. Do let me know what's wrong and right with it 🙏🏻
