I replaced the steering rack bushings on my Tundra 6k miles ago with Dorman parts, and one of the bushings already failed. I only noticed this after driving to work this morning and realizing that my alignment was way off. The truck is riding on stock suspension and I haven’t taken it off road, so I’m shocked that the bushings failed this quickly. Are there any better options for steering rack bushings on this truck that I can install and not have to worry about later? TIA

I was visiting a music store in Bologna and I found a record that had “Automaton” on one side and “Nights Out In The Jungle” on the other. I bought it and brought it home to play, and I had no idea that it was a clear vinyl! I’m from the U.S. and I’ve never seen this record in stores before.

2001 Toyota Tundra SR5 Access Cab, 107k miles

The driver side front interior door handle broke when I was getting out of the truck one day, so I installed a new interior door handle assembly to fix the problem. However, after completing the job, the door will not latch onto the striker, making it impossible to close the door all the way. I verified that the locks and handle work as intended, but I still can’t completely close the door. It looks like there’s a part of the door latch that is blocking the striker (see picture 4, pointing to it with a screwdriver). Do I need to replace the door latch, or is there a way to fix this so that the door closes properly? I’m an amateur mechanic, so I apologize if some details are unclear. TIA

There’s plenty of songs that mention the sun, but it’s almost always in a positive light (like “Here Comes The Sun” or “Everybody Loves The Sunshine”). But I live in Texas, and in the summertime, the sun is your enemy. I need songs that perfectly encapsulate the feeling of it being so damn hot outside that it makes you pissed off at the world and everything in it. TIA
