2.5lb bag of shredded cheese got partially melted up against a rotisserie chicken during a grocery delivery, is it still safe to use for anything?
i just stuck it in the fridge to throw away later at the time, but if i can still use it i'd like to.

I figured it out! They had to introduce a tree because the Wiggles kept having twins, so when they grow up and join like Lucia, they can be Twiggles with Uncle Tree.

not really expecting anything, excited that it sprouted at all, but are the leaves mutated or hermed? dunno anything about growing beyond lurking these subs but the leaves look a lil off to me
i hadn't cooked with lentils before and managed to miss that the red ones will turn to mush or dissolve more than green or brown. if I'm okay with a soft refried bean texture, will red lentils still work? i was planning on making a mix to really stretch the ingredients in meal prepped breakfast burritos.
we love their soup dumplings, my partner was eyeing the set with the steamer basket at Costco waiting for it to go on sale but snagged this instead!
this is more of a for future reference question as I'm thinking about getting a small extra freezer, but how do you reliably find the really good deals on stuff like "this goes bad tomorrow night" meat and similar? sales seem to only really be in store, not advertised online if the store has a website (two of my favorites don't even really have that, only instacart deliveries and weekly mail ads for a local Mexican grocery store, and Grocery Outlet's app).
i know some stores have a dedicated section for stuff like that, do you just always check those first/every time? are there better times a month or even times of day to look?
turned these last few potatoes that were getting lots of eyes and dark spots (cut off and tossed about a small potato's worth i'd say) baked with some bacon fat at 425 for about 45m, a can of forgotten chili (the exp date was july 2027 😳), and a can of black beans to fill it out bc i should've used a smaller pan, into dinner 🎉
heated it up all together topped with some cheese overall at 350 for another 10ish minutes, and added greek yogurt to mine and the toddler's portion. potatoes and black beans were a wic purchase as well so im glad i was able to use them up.
asked my partner to pick up a thing o' bleach for diluting for cleaning while out and about without thinking about specifying percentages or whatnot, thankfully GO support had me covered. wanted to post it so that anyone else looking it up like I did might be able to find it. for plain text: "GO Home & Haven Low Splash Bleach is 5-10% Sodium Hypochlorite, and the Concentrated Bleach is 7.5%." thank you, Angel!
