I have Athlon Cronus G2 UHD and the blackout has been driving me nuts. Is it better with other binos such as Vortex Viper 10x50?

I’m law enforcement which means I’m swappping back and forth between gear, sometimes in weird positions, and it feels like these Athlons have to be held just right to avoid blackout. They do have great image quality and I can’t step down from that.

The main problem seems to be that login.gov will not text or call either of my cellphones. It’s says they can’t be verified.

I tried deleting my phone from the website and adding it again and get the same error.

It will actually text my wife’s phone, which has never before been linked to my account, but then it won’t proceed to re-validate my identity.

The 24/7 support is worthless. They said to just keep trying every day (this has been an unresolved issue for weeks). They claim there is no higher level support, no other humans to speak with because it’s a fully automated system.
