Maybe I am just old, but I find the button labels to be hard to read on the GP-200. Especially the effects buttons when they are unlit, so I designed and 3D Printed this plate that simply sits on top

We are dropping off my son at university with two cars then driving on to Ottawa on Sunday for two days, heading back n Tuesday
So, looking for ideas for three days/two nights to leave car (at a reasonable rate)
After drinking various espresso drinks for 2 weeks I dreaded going back to my big cups of regular coffee … so I bought a Pixie and my first cup was everything I was hoping for. Mmmmmm!
A lot of people ask about travelling with a CPAP and I had a lot of questions before so I thought I would share my experience of travelling from Canada around Europe for 2 weeks.
Long post - but I wanted to outline everything I could as I was looking for a lot of this info before my Airmini purchase and vacation
My equipment includes a Resmed Airmini, P10 mask, HumidX Plus disc, and a Medistrom Pilot-24 battery. I bought it a couple weeks before my trip and this is my first time using it while travelling. I used my Airsense 11 bag. I had all the above, cables, plug adapters (Europe & UK), earplugs.
At home I use an Airsense 11. My settings are 13-18, Auto ramp starting at 8, EPR 1, P30i mask, humidity level 3.
I set the same settings on my Airmini. I spent a few hours practicing leading up to the trip with the Airmini watching TV and little naps.
The trip (all by plane): Toronto to Dublin, Dublin to Vienna, Vienna to Zagreb, Zagreb to Toronto
Airport/security: the bag was in addition to my carry on and personal item. Never questioned. I put the whole bag in the scanner bin and all 4 times it went through without incident or secondary check. Nothing - no check of battery or anything. In Toronto they asked me to remove the Airmini from the bag as I was placing it in the bin and place it beside it in the bin. The guy knew it was a CPAP bag and was completely unfazed. I printed out my prescription, Resmed travel docs from their site, Medistrom travel docs about the battery but not one person asked for or checked them. Completely seamless and easy experience.
On the plane: i placed the bag on the floor by my feet in addition to my small bagpack - everything fit well. On my two international flights I used it to sleep. I placed the battery and Airmini in the pocket in front of me with the air intake facing up and out and button on side not being pressed. Physically everything was perfect and worked great. There was no stigma in using it. Both times the stewardesses recognized what I was “setting up” and both wished me a Good Night with a smile. Using my AirSense would have been difficult. The seat spacing is so small these days on flights and setting it all up and having to use the fold down eating tray to hold it would have been difficult. Impossible? No. Just a lot more of a hassle.
Airmini: Over 2 nights of setting changes I managed to make my Airmini more or less feel similar to my Airsense settings. The hose size and HumidX are very different and the settings need to be changed to compensate. I ended up at level 3 EPR and 5 minute ramp - I was struggling for air waiting for Auto. It needed the higher EPR to let me have time to breathe out. I left everything in else the same. The MyAir scores were all almost the same as home every night. The feeling, and breathing cadence are similar but did take getting used to. I found the Airmini and HumidX more “stuffy” and the air thicker, which makes sense as it is recirculating through the HumidX. It takes getting used to. I never had dry nose/throat so the HumidX must have did its job. It is louder. You have to position the hose kind of just right or it gets louder. It is absolutely quieter that the plane noise so you can’t hear it in the plane at all. My wife never complains about my
CPAP noises but did admit the Mini was louder. After 25 years of me snoring like a truck she says she is happy to hear the CPAP noises. The battery was great - longest I used it on battery was one whole night and the level didn’t go below half. It is heavy as a USB power bank but we threw it in the back back during outings and worked great for charging phones too.
Summary: Overall the Airmini did its job and I slept well during my vacation.

I use a P30i with a standard P30i frame and it works great.
I recently decided to try an Airtouch frame (with my P30i pillow). It is super comfortable and I like it a lot but I am having trouble with maintaining a good seal all night. I do switch from my back to side a couple of times during the night.
I think the P30i frame's silicone's friction helps keep it in place and the Airtouch is sliding around a little too much during position changes.
I am going to try one last time tonight with it tighter than I normally have it, but if it is not maintaining the seal it is not good for me and the sound is not good for my wife.
Does anyone have any opinions or experiences with using the Airtouch frame and maintaining a seal?
"The CPAP Store" youtube channel recommends in one of thier videos using the Respironics DreamWear Headgear with the Airtouch frame as the best mask combination... anyone done that?
