A devenit un subiect despre care trebuie să vorbești cu teamă, încet, să nu fii catalogat rasist sau mai rău... ești împotriva sistemului care vrea să facă țara să-și piardă identitatea și neamul.

Acești bicicliști și scuteriști merg pe trotuar cu viteză, fără jenă, nu au nicio problemă, trebuie să te ferești. Am încercat să vorbesc cu unul și mi-a vorbit foarte urât, a zis că el plătește taxe!

Ce e trist și ce nu simțim încă: vezi alte țări care au importat persoane din India, Pakistan etc. – ce se întâmplă acolo? Ei vin aici și muncesc (săracii). Vor deveni violenți, vor deveni puternici pentru că vor fi uniți, vor aduce cu ei comportamentul lor... acum sunt simpatici pentru că...

Când vedeam acum 4-5 ani români de diverse categorii – pensionari, studenți, oameni cu venituri mai mici – am zis: „Wow, bravo, super tare chestia cu Bolt etc.!”, orice om putea să mai facă un ban în plus pe lângă pensie, făceau și mișcare...

Polițaiul e cu noi! Sincer, nu cred că au curajul să se ia de ei, sunt cumva protejați. Am văzut doi bătrânei care mergeau pe bicicletă și, pe o bucată din parc, au fost avertizați sau amendați imediat de poliție, iar nepalezii mergeau cu viteză fără probleme...

Nu e ură, nu e discriminare, e tristețe...

P.S.: Unul mi-a intrat în spate cu bicicleta electrică, mi-a îndoit portbagajul și a fugit.

Nu e clickbait, e viața noastră din ultimul an. 🙂

Am 20+ ani de radio și TV în spate. Acum un an, împreună cu fiul meu de 17 ani, ne-am apucat să construim de la masa din bucătărie un produs: Hookami, un AI care le spune creatorilor de YouTube ce merită filmat înainte să piardă o săptămână pe videoul greșit.

Concurența noastră: companii americane cu finanțări de zeci și sute de milioane de dolari. Noi: doi oameni, un laptop, zero finanțare.

Săptămâna trecută am lansat pe Product Hunt (cel mai mare site de lansări tech din lume) și am terminat în top 50 din 630 de produse lansate în ziua aia. Primii clienți plătitori există. E puțin, dar e real și e al nostru.

Nu postez ca să vând ceva — postez pentru că știu câți oameni din țara asta au un proiect în sertar și cred că "nu se poate de aici". Se poate. Greu, cu nervi, cu nopți, dar se poate.

Întrebați-mă orice: cum e să construiești cu copilul tău, cum arată o lansare internațională de la București, ce am face diferit. Răspund la tot.

Salut. Vreau să împărtășesc ce am învățat, poate ajută pe cineva care construiește singur.

Contextul: 20+ ani am lucrat în radio și TV. Acum un an m-am apucat să construiesc Hookami — un AI care le spune creatorilor de YouTube ce merită filmat ÎNAINTE să filmeze, pe date live de platformă. Nu încă un generator de scripturi — citește ce urcă acum, ce unghiuri sunt libere, ce videouri își bat media canalului.

Stack-ul pe scurt: pipeline propriu de date pe YouTube API (quota aprobată), sistem propriu de scoring (velocity, breakout detection), layer de orchestrare model-agnostic, plus MCP server ca să bagi datele live direct în Claude/ChatGPT. Partea de design a făcut-o fiu-miu, care face jocuri pe Roblox de la 13 ani.

Săptămâna trecută am lansat pe Product Hunt: top 50 din 630. Fără buget de marketing, fără rețea. Primii utilizatori plătitori au venit din outreach personal, nu din lansare.

Ce am învățat pe pielea mea:

• distribuția e de 10x mai grea decât construitul
• "AI-powered" în pitch a devenit red flag, nu feature — am scos cuvântul și a crescut încrederea
• un an am prezentat produsul ca listă de features. Nimeni nu cumpăra. Am schimbat pe "știi ce merită filmat înainte să pierzi o săptămână" și brusc oamenii au înțeles

Întrebați-mă orice despre arhitectură, quota pe YouTube API, sau cum e să lucrezi cu propriul copil la un produs. Răspund la tot.

For years the advice was "brainstorm 50 ideas and pick one." That made sense when nobody could see the market in real time. Now the data exists: what's rising this hour, which angles are taken, which small channels are overperforming their baseline.

The screenshot is me asking my advisor what's moving in tech right now — it answers with live signals, a verdict (early or late), and the angle nobody's taken. Full disclosure: I built the tool. But the point stands with or without it: when the signal is available, brainstorming without it isn't creativity — it's guessing with extra steps.

Not saying intuition is dead. Saying intuition deserves better inputs.

Bit of a painful founder lesson.

I spent roughly a year building Hookami, a product for YouTube creators.

For months, I explained it by listing everything it could do:

trend research, outlier detection, video deconstruction, beat sheets, thumbnail analysis, pre-publish review, MCP integration...

All technically true.

Also a pretty terrible pitch.

Reading it back, it sounded like another crowded AI toolbox with seven tabs and a monthly subscription.

The actual problem was much simpler:

Creators can generate content faster than ever, but they still don’t know which idea is worth spending the next week on.

That changed the way I talked about the entire product.

I stopped leading with:

The product hadn’t changed.

The framing had.

Hookami starts with evidence: which topics are gaining momentum, which videos are outperforming their own channel baseline, what is driving the movement, and which angles already look crowded.

Only then does it move into scripting, packaging, and pre-publish review.

Basically, I had been selling the engine when the real value was helping someone avoid making the wrong video.

Even the MCP integration fits differently now.

“Works inside ChatGPT and Claude” sounds cool, but it isn’t the core promise. It simply brings the research layer into the tools creators already use.

Now I’m testing the positioning in the least scalable way possible:

• personalized outreach to individual creators;
• a 30-day account with no posting obligation;
• direct onboarding;
• one question after they use it:

That answer matters more to me right now than signups, impressions, or people saying the landing page looks nice.

I wish I had focused on that question a year ago instead of constantly asking which feature to build next.

What did you remove from your pitch before people finally understood what your product was actually for?

I spent roughly a year building an AI product pretty much in silence.

Not because I had some clever stealth strategy.

I just kept telling myself:

“One more feature.”
“The onboarding needs work.”
“I’ll start posting when the product is ready.”
“I need a better demo first.”

You know the drill.

The product is now solid. It solves a real problem. I’m proud of what we built.

And my audience is basically starting from zero.

Turns out shipping code and creating distribution are two completely different jobs. I prepared for one of them and mostly ignored the other.

So now I’m doing the awkward part:

• writing publicly under my own name;
• reaching out to potential users one by one;
• sending personalized accounts to creators;
• posting on LinkedIn and X from almost zero;
• trying to learn Reddit without becoming “that guy” dropping his SaaS link everywhere.

The weird part is that I have 20+ years of experience in radio, TV and advertising. I understand attention professionally.

Apparently understanding attention and building attention for yourself are not the same skill.

My current plan is simple:

1. personally onboard a small number of relevant users;
2. publish useful data and lessons instead of product announcements;
3. document what works and what completely bombs;
4. stop hiding behind product work whenever marketing feels uncomfortable.

For founders who built first and started distribution late:

What actually moved the needle in your first 60–90 days?

Not the generic “post consistently” answer.

I mean the thing that genuinely got strangers to care: cold outreach, founder content, partnerships, communities, demos, something else?

I’m especially interested in what you tried that looked smart on paper but turned out to be a complete waste of time.

We feed it live trend data (velocity, dominant angles, what's breaking out right now) and it writes hooks that actually match the moment instead of generic "you won't BELIEVE this" templates. Old model needed 3-4 regens to get one usable hook — 5.6 nails it first try maybe 70% of the time.

Also wired everything into MCP last week, so the same live YouTube signals now work straight in Claude/ChatGPT. Took one evening, the protocol is way less painful than I expected.

Morning. The last 48 hours around Codex and ChatGPT have been pretty intense, and there are a few important updates worth noting:

• The 5-hour usage limit restriction has been temporarily removed for all Plus, Business, and Pro plans.
• OpenAI is rolling out changes that make GPT-5.6 more efficient across the board, so it uses less usage overall and can go further. The exact impact still needs to be measured.
• They also hit 6M active users and are rolling out a usage reset within the next hour.

Overall, it looks like they’re pushing hard on both capacity and efficiency at the same time.

Go do things.

And knowing the Claude crew, I wouldn’t be surprised if they push something like this soon too..
