IE Language group origins from Southern Caucuses/Armenian Highlands/Northern Iran

The language group Persian is under is listed as Indo-European with no mention it has origins in Northern Iran in its name. Should be Irano-European language group at least. It was our Iranic ancestors that gave the Proto-Aryan language to Northern India.

We know now the Yamnaya culture was not the originator of the language but inherited and eventually spread the language and with far reaching distance due to their use of wheeled technology. Yamnaya culture contained a large admixture from the Caucasian HG DNA combined with Eastern HG DNA which makes sense given the origins of the IE languages started from Southern Caucuses and they would have inherited the language through their Southern Caucasian ancestors.

Early on in the development of the language it spread west in Anatolia and would eventually form the earliest attested IE language, Hittite. And we know from genetic research Hittites did not have Yamnaya DNA. Another migration reached the Pontic-Caspian and Forest Steppe around 7000 years ago, and from there subsequent migrations spread into parts of Europe around 5000 years ago.

Caucasian Hunter Gatherer DNA is also directly related to Iranian Zagrosian Hunterer Gatherer DNA so indirectly Europeans through Yamnaya do have ancestry related to Iran through CHG DNA.

Through the Yamnaya migrations eastward the development of a new culture called the Sintashta culture (Proto-Proto-Iranic ancestors) would come to fruition and eventually through migrations south into Central Asia come FULL CIRCLE back into Iran as a more modern variety of the ancient language that was originally spoken in its northern lands.

Güzal Azerbaycan'a seyahat etmek isteyen bir Iranli turist olarak bir so'alim var:

Are Azerbaijani Turks friendly towards non Azeri Iranian tourists?

I have olive skin green eyes black hair of Lurish descent.

I speak some Turkish but no Azerbaijani.

You have a very beautiful country and from online i see/hear beautiful music, dresses food and culture.

I am an avid tea drinker so i picture myself drinking as much tea as possible and enjoying walking around your country.

Cevapların için çok teşekkür ederim 🙏❤️

A New Iran should relocate the capital from Tehran to Perspolis

It would be a great show of pride for a newly formed secular Iranian government to re-establish Persepolis as the capital of Iran. Similar to Rome Italy, I would not allow large skyscrapers but keep it traditional and structurally sound city full of culture and natural beauty.

There comes many advantages with this move:

- Persepolis is on a very low risk zone for earthquakes

- It is the ancient capital of the Persian Empire

- Gives a lot more resources to the ancient city that has been left in ruins for so long

Following the relocation of the capital back to Persepolis, I would restore the Apadana to its old glory using architecturally accurate materials and designs as was created under Darius the Great.

Also I would make the tomb of Cyrus the Great a national symbol of Iran by displaying it on the currency.

Likewise I would build an Achaemenian-style structure around the tomb of Cyrus the Great where people can pay their respects.

Turkish and Persian verb conjugation similarities

I am interested to see Turkish and Persian using very similar verb morphology. It's so cool since they are not related at least as modern linguistics is concerned.

English: They were not returning their smallest ones.

Turkish: En küçüklerini geri döndürmüyorlardı.

Persian: kuchiktarinhashunra barnemigardundan.

Turkish breakdown:

en(superlative)

küçük(small) + ler(plural) + i(object marker) + ni(possessive/object link)

geri(back)

dön(turn) + dür(causative) + me(negation) + yor(progressive) + lar(they) + dı(past)

Persian breakdown:

kuchik(small) + tar(comparative) + in(superlative) + hā(plural) + shun(their) + rā(object marker)

bar(back) + ne(negation) + mi(imperfective) + gard(turn) + ūn(causative) + d(past stem) + an(they)

What was really interesting is both use a very similar setup for causative structure:

Turkish causative structure:

dön (turn) + -dür (causative)

Persian causative structure:

gard (turn) + -un (causative)

Once Islamic Regime falls there needs to be a National Reform of the Persian language

One of the greatest harms committed by the cowardly Mullah regime, beyond the mass repression and killing of Iranian people, has been its systematic marginalization of the Persian language in favor of Arabic.

Going back to Iran, I am more than willing to contribute to this cause as the national protection of the Persian language is vital to the Iranian identity. Ever since this theocratic dictatorship has taken power, they have foregone the usage of native Persian words in favor of Arabic words in order to tailor themselves more towards Islam.

Names such as Khatam al-Anbiya, in English Final Seal of the Prophets, have NO meaning Persian and reflect the broader effort by the Mullahs to reshape Islamicize/Arabicize Iran’s cultural identity through language. It should have been called Payanin Neshaneye Peyqambaran.

There needs to be an institution set up similar to the times of Ataturk in Turkiye that conducts a mass overhaul of the foreign (mainly Arabic) word usages of the language and implements revisions from the bottom up (starting with elementary school all the way into university level studies).

For many of you reading, you can help contribute to the protection of the Persian language by using the following native Persian words instead of Arabic below:

The End of the Islamic Republic is near

I truly believe we are seeing the end of the Islamic Republic in Iran and although many people's patience is wearing thin and want it to come sooner, I do believe the end is near and I have never felt so sure about this in my life.

The massacre of tens of thousands of Iranian people in January was the nail in the coffin for the Mullah theocracy in Iran. Like rabid dogs being cornered before being put to death, the Mullah regime occupying Iran is lashing out and doing its best to inflict damage on the very country which has sheltered and fed them and their families for decades domestically and overseas.

This massacre of 40,000+ Iranians will forever be remembered in Iran's history books and we will look at this time in a much similar fashion to the dark ages of the Mongol occupation.

The Mullahs and their smiley faced representatives can continue to make diplomatic visits in the coming weeks and pretend as if a massacred didn't happen but there is no going back from the absolute carnage they have inflicted on the Iranian people this year.

When Iran is free I will see many of you back in our home country as we help to rebuild our ancestral land.

Payandeh bada Iran! Keshvare shirdelemun hamishe zende bashe!

When we have the revolution and restore our national flag across Iran.

How vital is it that we protect the colors of the flag.

The green on the original flag is a much darker tone than what is shared amongst the Iranians online and in the streets.

Personally I find the darker green color much more soothing on the eyes.

I think we need to come to a real consensus as Iranians typically have a very hard time to standardize something!

Some use this alternative but it is not an accurate representation of our national flag based on the light green color.
