Tl;dr PolyWatch Saved the day! It really works!
I heard about this product, Polywatch white tube, polish on this forum and decided to give it a shot. My Garmin Epix Pro Sapphire got a gnarly scratch when I brushed up against our brick home. I was hesitant to try something like a Polish on the sapphire, but decided it was worth the risk since the scratch bugged me and made the watch look a little beat up.
I bought the two bottle version that comes with the Dremel attachment, and made sure to take before and after photos and videos. I was very skeptical. This would really do anything, but wanted to document it for the forum here.
Using just finger pressure, I was able to get out about 50% of the marks, but the deeper marks stayed. They send too small of a wheel For my Dremel, so I used the Dremel brand soft wheel and a little dollop of their formula. Within one pass All the marks were gone and it looks brand new. Absolutely shocking, really impressed with how easy it was and how good it looks post polish.
If you have light scratches I would say you can expect your finger pressure to work, but if you have the sapphire crystal, And deeper marks, plan on using some power to really get it back to perfect. Dremel and accessories sold separately.
It really does work as good as others have talked about here. HUGE thanks to all those who risked it and told us about it! It was a little more expensive than I really wanted to pay, and the bottles are tiny (look like the tiny super glue bottles) - but it's way cheaper than sending it in to Garmin for hundreds of dollars. Overall, if I'd say worth it - especially if you have that one nagging scratch.
