Lost USB flash drive

I know this is a long shot, but I lost a small usb flash drive. It rotates and has a USB-A and USB-C side. It's my backup for all my memories and photos since 2015 and I really hate to think that it's all gone. It may have slid out of my bag and dropped somewhere within the last three weeks. I don't usually go out, so I do know what locations I visited within that time frame.

I may have dropped at these locations:

- Dave n Busters at Ala Moana (I only visited this location and have not walked around the mall)

- Royal Hawaiian Food Court (Near Kokoro Cafe)

- Stix Asia in Waikiki (Ramen Bario)

- Regal Movie Theater Dole Cannery

These are the only locations I have visited since I last had it. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to DM me. I know what folders and files are on it, and I know the organizing system I used.

[SPOILER] for Spiderman Brand New Day

I just finished the movie and after knowing about all the pre-release marketing, I kept chuckling to myself seeing it all being used on the big screen. Peter has the Flip, Ned uses the Fold, No regular wide 8 to be seen. The in-universe Spidertracker app plays a minor plot point but is seen many times throughout.

In some scenes when you can see Ned's Fold fully opened, it seemed to be the Fold 7 (the lighting was not too bright, but the back panel seemed to be the BLUE Fold 7 not the Violet Shadow hero color of the 8 Ultra). I figured for the movie, it was all filmed with the 7 models since the 8 wasn't out until the marketing promos. Then it was filmed quickly with Jacob Batalon with that Fold 8 Ultra for marketing purposes.

Anywho, throughout the movie there were A LOT of Samsung phones and not just foldables. There were many crowd scenes where the extras were holding obvious Samsung phones (easily spotted camera layouts), and a secondary character has what seems to be the s21 Ultra. Anyways I found it so funny that Samsung put a lot of their marketing into this movie.

Looking for Outlier Resources or local connections for low-income rental apartments

[SERIOUS] I figured since I'm not coming from the mainland I could post it here instead of the movingtohawaii subreddit: Local boy (27yo) currently living with family and working in Kapolei. Parents are looking to retire next March and will be moving to a smaller house/apartment. I will not be moving with them as they just want a simple one-bedroom. Once they retire, we as a family will not be able to afford the house we are currently in, thus I'm looking to move out on my own.

As of June 2, 2026, the section 8 housing application waitlist is closed so I can't use that. I also submitted an application to the City and County of Honolulu Rental Assistance Program. Even though I've submitted my application to that program, I feel like I can do more to look for low-income housing besides the government assistance programs which already have long wait times. Zillow, Redfin, and Apartments.com aren't really helping with the lower income units.

Are there any direct application sites, management sites, or agents I can contact as well that can help me find housing ideally by December 2026? I also don't mind if there are any personal connections you may know of looking for tenants. That way I don't have to scramble to find anything by March next year which is when the big family move is supposed to happen. I don't wanna be swept off my feet and not prepared.

I'd like there to be:

-Total budget: maximum $1000 solo

- Private Room (studio or even bedroom okay but preferably with its own entrance instead of a shared living space or hallway)

- I'd like to keep my job in Kapolei, commuting in the morning from East to West is alright since it's against the main traffic; so any reasonable distance is alright.

- I have a pet cockatiel

- I do have a car, I would prefer a dedicated parking space and any fees with it are alright

Please feel free to DM me any resources or if they may be helpful for others, comment them here too. It's June 2026 but I know the end of the year will be here quick so I'm trying to plan without panicking. Thanks in advance!!

2026 Pre-recorded Regional Convention is online

Hi all, I've been browsing the JWTalk forums and know that the convention has been posted on the JW Streaming site. However, upon requesting links, I've been redirected to the local elders and they are people I do not want to initiate a conversation with just to ask for the links. Seeing a previous post about the May 2026 announcements, they'd probably be cautious about sending links to just anyone.

So I'm wondering if any PIMO elders or MS here have access to the streaming link, would it be possible to share it? Whether it be a DM or a direct post, I'd like to watch glimpses of it just to be up to date on content PLUS so I can skip attending it next month but still be able to answer prodding questions about the content should my parents ask. I'm hoping this'll be the final convention I ever attend.

Thanks in advance and I hope it's not an inconvenience

Update & Acceleration of plans needed

Here is my original post with the backstory:

https://www.reddit.com/r/exjw/s/AL5WfSg6je

My goal of March may seem to be a bit too far for what is currently happening. I am due for a "shepherding call". The appointment is at a Starbucks, so at least a public place, but I keep rescheduling it. On the regular day that I spend with my boyfriend, I missed a couple of calls for the elder to check-in on me. So what does this elder do next? He calls: my dad, my mom, my uncle, my cousins, my brother, asking for where I am and why I wasn't able to answer his calls. Then my dad calls my in-religion homie/bestie to check-in. My homie covers for me, saying that I was with him in the afternoon (not evening) and that my phone battery died. I don't see the missed calls until the later evening. I see a whole list of missed calls and texts saying that everyone is looking for me. Ugh the dramatics... I call and respond to everyone saying my phone died and that I'm just charging in the car.

Here's the new bit of conflict. On the day that I missed the call, my in-religion homie/bestie was with other congregation members who can vouch for his presence and thus the lack of mine. So now, the elders of his congregation asked him where I was. He was able to cover for me partially and I thanked him for that. His elders have not contacted me at all. However, bestie called to give me a heads up that his elders are gonna ask my dad and my uncle (both elders) what I was doing. This is where I'm at for the moment.

I'm expecting (as nervous as can be with knots in my stomach) a future interrogation soon. But Idk what to say for that time. On the fly, maybe I can say that I was with coworkers late at night? But even that seems out of character for me... I need ideas or anything that can help me spark an alibi for the night. Also I'm still trying to save up as much as I can but these debts man. I'm barely surving.
