I found this at an antique store and was very curious where this might've been taken, I think it was taken the late 1930s

I found this photo today and was wondering where it might've been taken, I'm guessing Germany but I'm not sure exactly where?

A couple photos I found of a town in Germany. I'm unsure of the possible dates but would anyone have an idea?

Scans showing up dark after one successful scan (HP ScanJet 4070)

I was wondering if anyone might know of the issue that might be going on with my scanner. Today I scanned this 35mm slide and it came out as it should with lighting but other ones I tried came out incredibly dark even though the i plugged the TMA cable in. I'm using Vuescan as my scanning software. Any help would be really appreciated
