The past 3 - 6 weeks in particular I have seen some of the longest routes I have seen in a while. My longest route thus far has been 212 miles, that was a few years ago, recently, I had one that was 200 miles. That's my 3rd longest, my 2nd was 204. Then two days after I get one for 174, and then another for 172. The average route seems to getting longer or they have changed the range of distance for deliveries. These past few weeks has been non-stop long distance routes just way out of area.

Anyone else experience way more routes that have been just absurdly long distance more frequently specially so within the past few weeks?

I am tired, I don't understand how anyone thinks the average person can use this, and last time I thought I was wrong, I had to pretty much sort through and delete everything, or at least of a lot because of doubles everywhere.

I thought I did everything right by only having 1 - 2 shares from cache -> array, I named them for what their intents where. I went through each share, file by file, renamed everything, redid everything like what was instructed on many videos, according to various forums. I am now back to waiting for processes to finish for items that don't need to be move on isolated shares on the cache pool, I literally had some javescript files on there to be moved. I have gone through the shares, the folders, and I have no idea what it's because there is nothing that needs to put on the array.

I just don't get it.

Original issue:

I had a network issue and had to power cycle my router, that's it.

I'll never restart any of equipment again without shutting down unraid. It's impossible to do anything without shutting unraid down first. I guess I will just start doing that daily at night.

Which causes the gui to go down.

Flushed dns, restart, check cables, reset browser, reset connections, disconnect mapped network drives, reset network on PC.

Then pinged it, got weird results, it kept saying connection refused.

Then I couldn't ssh into it, after trying everything. I checked the forums, ran 20 different commands to get a picture of the situation, then gave up had to pull out a monitor and keyboard just for tower.

/etc/rc.d/rc.sshd restart then stop then start

/etc/rc.d/rc.nginx restart then stop then start

Tried every permutation.

/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 stop start etc...

Then I wanted to check how far along parity check was,

Essentially 1 hour and half later I am back in.

So then I decide to restart, better run the mover first.

Well the mover hangs, it created double shares, then nothing happens for a while. There is nothing that needs moved anyways.

I had 3 AI's assist me, along with people in the forum and reddit previously.

The AI's caused more harm than good.

The people who helped me were great, some advice was good, some not so great, but I am thankful.

Overall it was a compounded cluster of misinformation, misdiagnosed issues, and just wrong info (AI), that lead to disastrous, completely ludicrous situation. Too many cooks in the kitchen and me following too many people's advice, attempting to do too much way beyond my current capabilities. Trying various things in forums posts, and websites that believe they know what they are talking about.

The Unraid docs, previously, was unclear on something, I can't find it right now, the old version. I got help with clarification on something and how to do something, but that is where the origin of it began from my looking back. I don't know if it was me, the docs, the AI , the advice, I just can't remember.

In any case, I owe an apology to everyone.

The issues I can't even word properly, it was just everything that compounded onto each other.

It's going to take days to weeks to fix depending upon hardware but it's being addressed.

I regret my purchase before but now I do every single day. Looking at my server and every day that I have to use it, I just want to chuck it all. I regret buying unraid EVERY single day. It's nothing but constant issues, you need a computer degree to use it, it's buggy, 8th flash drive. Corruption issues, nothing works right, documents are outdated at times, then you have to spend hours, days fixing it. Sync issues, then slow speed issues, and so many more.

NOW despite me having space it FREAKING says I am out of space on two different machines, I restarted it twice. I have to reseat the GD flash drive each start up. Notta.

On top of that, despite me using the shares, which are impossible to use, because using them just gets the "SOME OR ALL FILES UNPROTECTED". GD I am using the freaking share folders themselves, so now that take yet another freaking day to solve. I will unbalance everything so that I find the problem.

It's too much, no matter how many times I read, use the docs, this is half-baked at best and just simply does not work. I spend more time debugging it and trying to get it to work right then enjoying myself. I just can't do it anymore.

Is there anything else? I am pulling out my hair at this point and I just regret purchasing unraid every day.

Posted it 20 minutes ago and 9 comments telling me I am to blame and that it's the hardware, this seem cultish to me.

I had the motherboard tested, and hardware at micro-center and some local computer shop / owner tested it. Nothing abnormal with the hardware. $200 down the drain, AGAIN.

I guess hardware for some strange reason, somehow that changes the OS / software, it's pointless but here you go.
