Reconditioned these IRs last summer and they darkened up. No problem with that but was going to do some touch ups and can’t figure out what color to use. Any recommendations? I have some Saphir oxblood for another pair of boots but that doesn’t match as much as I would like. Thanks!
Looking to touch up my IR’s but for the life of me can’t remember what color Saphir I used last summer after a recondition. Any recommendations which color would match closest?
Quality seems great, boots definitely have some heft to them, leather looks solid and the sole looks like they will take a beating. Think they were definitely worth the wait.

Smoked some baby backs and thighs on the WSM. Ribs on top, thighs in a pan on the bottom. Finished the thighs on the gas grill to tack up the sauce. Go Spurs Go!

Hello, anyone have recommendations for a carpenter? Looking to open up hallway and doorways to make it ADA standards. Currently a couple of inches short so not wheelchair friendly. Door landing/deck and ramp is needed as well. Thanks!

Remodeling a home in NB, so have been hiring various contractors to knock out everything from plumbing to electrical. Have been using NB based companies and most have offered slightly higher quotes than San Antonio based contractors (no issues, like spending money locally). Most quotes I’ve received usually have either pay once they are done or 1/3 down, 1/3 at some milestone and the remainder when finished. So time comes to get quotes for concrete (driveway apron, sidewalk, etc) plus prep and true grid parking lot. Call around and get a local recommendation. Quote comes in at $30K, which was the lowest of three quotes. However company wants half up front. I pushed back and said let’s do 1/3,1/3,1/3 since that was what everyone else had on their quotes. The company never responds to that ask, they just go radio silent. So my question is was I out of line wanting them to match the terms? Were they insulted that I did not feel comfortable writing a check for $15K before they’ve done any work? Either way think we dodged a bullet with them. Thanks!
