Hello everyone!
I wanted to show you this oil painting from 1999 by Stela Vesa, titled Naive Landscape from Transylvania.
I absolutely love her naïve style and the way she captured the rhythm of rural life - the hills, the church spires, and the villagers at work.
Are there any collectors around here who appreciate her works or who follow visual artists from the
#Bihor area?

Salutare tuturor!
Look at this incredible 1999 naive landscape titled 'Peisaj Naiv din Transilvania' by Stela Vesa, which I just added to my collection!
I am absolutely in love with how her expressive colors and unique perspective bring this lively rural scene to life
Any other information would be happy to receive
Hi everyone,
I previously posted this beautiful geometric abstract painting, and a few people suggested it might be by the Belgian artist Elie Borgrave because of the style.
However, I contacted a gallery/expert, and they have confirmed it is definitely NOT by Elie Borgrave.
Now that his name is ruled out, I am trying to identify the actual artist. Here are the main clues:
The Monogram: It is painted in a thick red paint. It looks like a stylized "W", "M", or possibly a bird/wings. Unlike Borgrave's usual signatures, there is no year painted next to it.
The Style: It’s a gorgeous mid-century abstract piece (likely 1950s–1960s) with heavy, textured paint (impasto) and bold geometric lines outlined in lighter tones. It feels very aligned with the École de Paris (School of Paris) movement or artists like Bram Van Velde.
The Back: (If you have a photo of the back of the canvas or frame, mention it here and upload it! If not, delete this line)
Does anyone recognize this specific red monogram or have a lead on mid-century abstract artists who signed their work this way?
Thank you so much for any help or direction!
