today marks the 13th release from our little label, and this is one that's been a long time coming. from the forests of southern sweden, we present Mistlur, the solo project of one of our collective's members. made with minimal gear (a synth and a re-purposed drum machine), Mistlur creates an interesting soundscape equally abrasive as soft and comforting. this is a mini album full of minimal synth excursions, with shapeshifting arpeggios and drones, sometimes bordering on the abrasive and noisy, sometimes with a softer edge. this is experimental ambient created with restraint and care, which grows on each listen.
