favourite minced/ground beef alternatives?

i've tried tofu, tempeh, lentils and Quorn mince. I wasn't a fan of the tofu in bolognese, texture-wise — it was soggy and not marinated properly, also the taste was off. I love tempeh and Quorn for tacos, and I tried tempeh bolognese for the first time yesterday — the taste and texture were nice, but i would adjust the sauce to vegetable and tempeh ratio a bit, and crumble the tempeh smaller. I like lentils in a lasagne but I wasn't a fan of it in tacos or bolognese — maybe it was just the way my mum made it, though.

I've heard good things about TVP, and I'm sure there are other alternatives too, but I haven't tried them. please feel free to share recipes or techniques if you have them!

least chalky mango-flavoured protein powder

right now I just use a cheap whey protein powder I can find in my local supermarket, but the texture is kind of chalky and im not a huge fan of the flavour. I put it in my smoothies.

preferably not low cal or high cal but somewhere in the middle — I also put peanut butter and yogurt and lots of honey in my smoothies so I only really want the added protein. I'm vegetarian and my meds can suppress my appetite so sometimes I struggle to get enough protein in my diet when I can't be arsed to cook. I try to cram as much into my breakfast smoothies as possible.

if anyone knows a brand that is minimally chalky and has a decent mango (or mango-adjacent) flavour then that would be great. Preferable one I can buy in UK supermarkets or can order online to ship to the UK.

list of dog breeds with filters

a website or app that has a list of dog breeds and mixes where you can filter in or out certain traits, so you can narrow down what type of dog is best suited for you without doing tons of research just to decide on a breed.

when I think of a filter I mean like the kind on an online store — average size, colour, traits, activity level, hypoallergenic or not, social or not, easy to train, maintenance level, etc.

maybe not that specific, but just something to narrow down the list of breeds and mixes a bit when trying to decide what you want to adopt, so that you have a shortlist to research instead of googling the traits of every breed.

How do you guys organise your scrap fabric?

cross posted to r/sewing and r/Homeorganization

How do you guys organise your scrap fabric? I'm sick of the ugly plastic tub under my bed, it's impossible to find the specific piece I'm looking for without making a huge mess. I'm considering just buying one of those huge accordion document folders and organising them by colour (or material, I'm usually working with all blacks and greys), but does anyone else have any other way that they organise their scraps?
