Emmerdale really does take the absolute piss turning everyone into scheming gangsters. I was starting to think Ruby was a nice person. Maybe had some real depth to her etc and then the writers just turned her into a scheming cow who wants to destroy someone else's business. Been watching it for years and years but thats the kind of stuff msking me think why am I bothered anymore.

We understand that RTE1 are screening ‘We Only Want the Earth’ - a documentary on James Connolly - on Wednesday 26th August at 9.30 after the News.
The film tries to place Connolly’s radical ideas and many political achievements against the landscape of the contemporary world as well as documenting his more prominent role in the 1916 Easter Rising.
As well as many distinguished commentators, union activists and historians, the film also features many songs and poems - spoken and sung by contemporary artists such as Christy Moore, Stephen Rea, piper David Power, singers Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin and Esosa Ighodaro, as well as Connolly’s great, great granddaughter Tamsin Iona Connolly Heron.
Acclaimed actor Terry O’Neill performs the words of Connolly.
The film aims to reclaim Connolly’s story as well as invoking his important social vision - with a clear eye on how it resonates in our contemporary time - an era when even democracy itself appears under threat.
The film was independently produced and financed with the support of the Irish trade union movement.

Potentially some good news
There was a post here yesterday about a trans person in a relationship that appears to be deleted. As far as I can remember it was a trans male in a relationship with another trans male who was being very insistent about their boyfriends medical care.
I was thinking yesterday about it. Most of the responses were about the person leaving their boyfriend.
I wanted to suggest the person contact Mens Aid for advice and support on the matter. They could advise the person but just to note that Mens Aid are also lgbt+ inclusive. Theres quite a lot of useful information on their site.

UK trans advocacy and complaints collective has issued a warning for trans people not to travel to UK.
I run a small Facebook group as an admin. Last year a person put up a post about a rogue trader who was supposed to carry out work and never did. A few people posted saying similar. The person contacted another group admin and they agreed to delete it.
This has happened again. Same stories. About 10 people claiming he took deposits never did the work etc wtc. A similar post on Reddit.
The trader is messaging me claiming he will take legal action against me for defamation and doxxing.
I havent defined anyone. I havent doxxed anyone. But would he have a leg to stand on taking legal action against me.
