Got bored today, so I randomly writren down and calculated the 5-year cost of ownership of my 2021 Creta Diesel 1.5 MT.

80,000 km done so far, and apparently I've spent roughly ₹8.3L on fuel, servicing, insurance, tyres, battery and all the random accessories I've added over the years. This excludes the car's purchase price, loan interest, tolls and minor repairs.

Honestly, seeing the numbers written down like this was slightly painful. I can buy an hatchback with the amount spend. And I know most of these accessories are avoidable.

Brakediscs to be changed.

Brakepads, pm sensor, orvm switch, wipers (5 times) changed under care package and extended warranty.

Cab anna strikes again

Started playing RDR2 and i feel this is a great tribute what do you guys think!!!

I was travelling on Hyderabad to Bangalore National highway and this incident happened just after the outskirts of Hyderabad. I was in between some truck traffic. There was a intersection and the truck in front of me took a U-Turn suddenly without any signal. I noticed and slowed a bit more. Then, I started moving in my lane looking both the sides and rear view mirrors. Suddenly I noticed a Hyundai Alcazar guy was coming in opposite direction to merge the other side of the highway. I started flashing my lights and slowed down. He also stared flashing simultaneously.

I was expecting him to move towards his right and cross when there is no traffic but that idiot chose to come on my way. I was not able to move left as I thought he would slow and there were few other vehicles behind me to overtake me, impatiently.

So what do you think guys? Was he right? Please share your views.

Ignore the date this happened last month. There was issue with my dashcam.

I was travelling from bangalore to hyderabad and this incident happened at around 1AM near jadcherla. What happened was, a person crossed the highway out of nowhere and I noticed him ( i was at 100 kmph) and slowed down. Immediately a mob of 7-10 people crossed the road the same way without even looking at the vehicles. As I was aware and noticed them, was able to control the car without any collision. There were other vehicles behind me so I couldn't steer left and also was unable to judge the movement of pedestrians. So i decided to stick to my lane without panicking.

Faced this kind of incidents before too but this time I decided to share online. So please be cautious while driving at night-time. If possible avoid. Have a good lighting in your car. Sometimes due to highbeam lighting from opposite direction makes you blind. Drive around 80kmph to have a good control and enough time to react.

Please ignore date and time in the video. It happened on 11 may 2026. Due to some issue with my dash cam it is showing wrong date.

Edit: In the video it look like I was driving in middle of the road but actually I was switching from left lane to right lane. During editing I trimmed that part as it was 3-5 lengthy.

Im surprised does anyone use this? I get my hotstar subscription almost for free ever quarter
