There seems to be a theme of water and drowning that runs through the album. But otherwise I’m not sure what’s going on haha. The title track seems to detail the creation story. That’s all I got. How are you all interpreting the songs on the live album ?

Hey everyone. What was initially a 2 hour layover is now an overnight due to an airline cancellation.

Since it’s New Year’s Eve, I figured I’d venture into the city. I’ve never been before. I’d like to visit a well-known area. Some details:

1. I arrive at 9:30pm. I wish it was earlier but what ya do. I obviously don’t know how long it will take to get through customs but let’s say it’s an hour.
2. I’m staying 15 minutes from the airport.
3. From a little googling it seems gas town is the best place to go.
4. It looks like it would take about an hour by subway and 30 minutes by taxi. I acknowledge I might be cutting it close for midnight.
5. I’m not looking to party hard. Mostly I want to walk around the nightlife, walk around a cool area and see whatever I can.
6. My morning flight isn’t until early afternoon so I don’t need to wake up too early.

Is it worth going into the city at that time? If I do, do the trains run 24 hours? Should I just stick around the airport? Any where closer that’s maybe a better idea?

Thanks in advance.

Hey all,

I never explored the post TG work of Chris and cosey. Which is odd because I’m a big fan of Coil and a lot of others from that orbit like Current 93. They have a vast catalog. So, which are the classics? And which are your personal recommendations? Much obliged.

The crossword is all music related and the answer is >!Deer!<

This is the second time the author has used this in a crossword except the wording was different. “Rocker during catastrophic show blunder?” I’m really curious what this is referring to. I tried googling it to no avail. Anyone get it? Thanks!

I’m discovering this album for the first time. In various places it seems like it always existed as a double album with 28 tracks. As in, it was originally released as a double album. Some places make mention of an extended version with singles and EPs. On Apple Music, there’s a version with 11 tracks and an “extended” version with 28 tracks. So I’m confused. For example, usually Wikipedia will list an original tracklist and extended tracklist. But for this album it only has the extended one and doesn’t listed it as extended. Even some reviews make it sound like it was always 28 tracks.

Is the 28 track extended version the double disc album some sites refer to it as? Is that the version with added EPs and singles? Was it originally only 11 tracks? I can’t make heads or tails of this haha. Thanks!

I’ve never listened to the chill out before. I keep seeing it mentioned when I read about ambient and experimental music so I really want to hear it. I know it’s a classic. However the only version on streaming currently is the reworked version “Come Down Dawn which is missing several samples due to copyright.

Has anyone heard both versions? Are they so different that the version on streaming is not worth listening to or is it close enough? Thanks in advance.

In preparation for an upcoming test, I am doing a station rotation review. I already have some good activities for the other grammar points that involve drawing, Jenga, and a matching game. The only thing I can come up with for clauses is a sorting activity. But I think it’ll go to you quickly and I wanted it to be a little more fun. If you have any ideas, I’d love to hear them. I’m a little pressed for time because this is a make up class that I didn’t know about lol. Hard to explain. Thanks!
