Not sure who is growing these guys or if it’s a new brand. I do know I really enjoyed this smoke. Banana gushers was fruity and mouth watering. A really excellent easy breezy high.

Decided to try out one of these kief coated long lifts but was left a little underwhelmed. Not due to the high which seemed decent or the flavor which was a bit mouth watering but rather how it burned. About 65% of the way through it unfortunately became nearly unsmokable. It’s hard because a lot of prerolls do this. Specifically the more “potent” or infused ones. I’ve never had this issue with anthem bold or even the 93boyz rellos. I don’t think I’d pick this up again because I’d want to reroll it which would be a waste of the kief.

Don’t usually buy prerolls but when I do lately it’s anthem. The bolds to be specific. Making my way through all the flavors. So far I think I dig the wood tips more because they bring me back to my blunt smoking days. Especially the grape pie and the blue raspberry ones! Seen these 4th of July themed ones so I picked em up. Like usual I enjoyed the wood tips more. The purple mountain is like a beautiful mix of the blue raspberry and grape pie with an added sweet tart taste for me. The rocket glare was definitely more for people who like their weed weedy and more gassy. Not** for me but my husband liked it a lot. What’s your fav anthem?

There are so many 2g disposables out nowadays. Which do you prefer? I can’t decide just yet since I haven’t tried em all. The high supply gmo doesn’t taste so good but smacks effects wise, the select one is yummy and always hits, the savvy one is good decent but seems to run out super fast.

How was everyone’s weekends? Mine was lit. I started early on Thursday with the anthem sundown showdown. It was awesome. They had free drinks, food, smoke, a cool blindfolded experience that unlocked a prize of either a tattoo or an engraved zippo. They also had a mechanical bull, 2 djs, and swag galore. Had to work all of Friday but Saturday I hit up six flags and brought a bag full of goodies to stay elevated through the day. ( I’ll post in comments) Sunday after work it was top golf. Overall a great weekend. What yall do? Most importantly what yall smoke?

Been so out of it. I forgot to take photos of the waxes and left the packages out of my flower photos. After smoking them tho I’ve got some opinions. Mainly the strawberry cough badder from Bedford. Tbh this did not hit like the classic strawberry cough strain I love. I’m not a sativa but strawberry cough has always been my favorite sativa due to its ability to get me happy and laughing no matter what’s going on. I did not get that from this but rather a heady experience that had me reaching for a indica to balance out. Does anyone know of a strawberry cough on in the il market that hits true to strain? The sour apple sorbet was decent but nothing special and I found myself out quicker than most. It tasted good but the effects seemed to fade too quickly. It didnt seem to lean in either direction for me just kinda right in the middle. I did get some find gas lit and banana papaya(2/$35) and some elevate super boof as well. The gas lit was surprisingly pretty good. It was more of a sativa swing in the beginning than I was expecting and had me sort of buzzing but settled into a nice body high shortly after. Kept me feeling alert and motivated but also chill and vibing. Likely pick this up again for a six flags/top golf outing. Haven’t opened up my banana papaya just yet but looking forward to it. Since I’ve been a bit busier this week and trying to get out of my funk I’ve been smoking a bit less indicas since I’ve been sleeping so much. Super boof has always been a good strain to me and I love to try it from different cultivators. It’s so fruity which I love and leaves me feeling happy 😊 it’s a great strain for depression tbh and elevate did that. But then again I haven’t found a strain elevate didn’t do right. Drop your favorite strains that cure your blues please!

Don’t usually smoke cbd flower but this orange herijuana has a special place in my heart. It’s such a good strain for stress, pain, and ptsd. If you’re looking to get lit definitely not the strain. But if you need some medicine this is it. For me imma stay with one on deck for the hard days in life. Kinda a break glass in case of emergency type of strain. What strains do you keep on deck for the rough days? Also looking for great pain killing strains?

Loved this strain. A mix off gg4(personal fave) & Big Mac. Nugs were big hairy and sticky smoke was clean high was chill. 10/10

Seen this sign when I went in Monday so I checked the menu today and they had $30 7gs so I made my way to the Deerfield location for med 🫶 glad I did. Since I recently did the grassroots vs dark heart I was interested to hear more from their team. I stated in my review I thought they were similar but different. That the dark heart did seem more quality. After speaking the Dave and Venancio I understand why that is. They took 🧬 genetics to a whole new level. They narrowed it down to the chromosomes. So much science my mind was slightly blown. They really want this product to be consistent every single time. So they figured out how to grow it the same each time. Some strains haven’t quite made it out just yet but are one the way. They have not been seen in grassroots before and I’m excited to see them as they come out. They have worked with some great strain mixes and gone through plenty of testing before they get to final production and I was glad to hear from the people doing this testing just how much love and dedication has been put into this product. I’m waiting on the Moonbeam but I just know that the Sativa heads gonna eat up the blackened blue. The cross genetics are wild.

First time I seen these at the new Cannect Dispensary and definitely enjoyed the chamoy but it was a little thin so I’d use with caution! Lost like 15mg on my couch :( the mango tajin gummies were actually not my favorite even tho I very much expected to be crazy for them they just didn’t taste like I thought they would. The only pic I got was this one my sister sent me lol.

I wanted to try out the new dark heart strains so I picked up triple stack but then someone posed the question is it just grassroots rebranded. That took me down a rabbit hole. Soooo I went back and got a few grams of grassroots in the same strain as well as grabbed the zesty garlic cookies in dark heart. I smoked them on separate occasions and then within the same day to see what I thought. Overall the dark heart strains are fresher, stickier, smellier, and more potent versions of the strains we grew to love from grassroots. Or at least I was already digging the zesty 🧄 🍪 & moonbeam 🍨 with the grassroots. For the triple stack I ground the grassroots by hand but had to bring out the grinder for the dark heart as well as wash my hands after attempting to break it down. The nugs were so visually distinct I was surprised. Not as heavy of a difference in color or appearance of zesty garlic cookies but still much more fresh and required a grinder to break down. The smell was similar for both but amplified and easily noticeable to the naked nose which one is more stanky. 🤭 I made my husband sniff test with his eyes closed to see if he agreed lol 😂 like I said rabbit hole! The high was slightly longer with the dark heart as well and when I smoked the triple stack I found myself eating the dang house followed by a heck of a nap. The same cannot be said for the grassroots since after I smoked that I went out for a regular day and smoked again a little while later without getting locked. So is dark heart just grassroots rebranded…. Kinda but better…. like when you replicate your moms food but do it even better than her so you get passed the torch

Trying a new dispo. Which should I try?

Took a while to post about this one because I wanted to smoke it again first. Overall I really like this brand. So far everything I’ve tried has hit. Interested to try more strains so if you have some recs please comment. This smells like a sweet fruity gas and taste the same. I quickly feel my frown turn upside down when I smoke this. I was a bit in my feelings the first and second time I smoked this and it perked me up a bit while still letting me feel relaxed which I loved. First time had me openly singing along to my song in the car second time I felt a bit more creative and crocheted for a few hours. Not a very gassy girl with my buds so was happy the fruitiness was more noticeable for me. I’ll definitely be making my way through more flora strains.

Tried out this cute little dispo cuz why not. I get it that resin and rosin are better but am a sucker for cute things that sound tasty. I’m literally just a girl. 🤷‍♀️ got the Maui Mango one. It’s alright, taste good, has decent effects. Still a bit harsh and causes me to cough more than I’d like. Probably gift it to my sister but it’s cute and I like the way it taste. Got a hybrid as well but haven’t tried it so maybe I’ll like that more. This is probably a 6/10 for a distillate. But this may also just be because it’s Sativa. Mango just sounded so yummy 🤤

Quality rosin for a decent price! Picked up the Alley Cat rosin from ic collective and it’s one of the best if not the best I’ve had. Literally could feel it DURING the first dab. One of those that has you immediately fried but also didn’t make me cough excessively and tasted so clean and delicious. 9.5/10 only due to how long the high last. The packaging is a 10 with the way it holds in the jar and has an internal reusable seal! I think I have a new favorite 😍 my tolerance has been fried so it was so nice to not have to take huge globs or 3-5 dabs. 2 had me feeling way too good already.

So when I slip stitch to join the round am I supposed to chain one then single into second stitch or the first? I’m doing this not thinking I switched mid way. Forgot what’s right and feel like my project is curving out in one spot. Also my stitch line is literally slanted. What am I doing wrong?!
