Why don't more people use the "bawas" virama?

I found this in Jose Sevilla's [Sinupan Ng̃ Wikag̃ Tagalog](https://archive.org/details/sinupan-ng-wikang-tagalog) where they use a bawas, minus or hyphen insteas of the krus-kudlit or pamudpod. I personally like how it looks more than the other contenders.

hal.

ᜑᜓᜄᜒ-ᜐ — hugis

ᜋ-ᜌᜈᜒᜎ — maynila

ᜈ-ᜄᜈᜒᜈᜒ-ᜅᜈᜒ-ᜅ — nagniningning

---

There are also ways to simplify baybayin like the likwát or inverted comma. It "flips" the consonant-vowel cluster so ᜆ (ta) changes into ‘ᜆ (at) which is cleaner than ᜀ-ᜆ. There are more but I won't go over them to keep this post straight to the point. You can go read it yourself if interested ツ.

I understand if you still prefer the pamudpod, krus-kudlit, etc. But I wonder, why aren't these proposals as popular?

---

Edit: I forgot to mention that using the bawas virama does cause a few issues with inital consonant clusters. The word "trabaho" would be -ᜆᜍᜊᜑᜓ or -ᜆᜇᜊᜑᜓ which may or may not look nice for some.

What if we had separate characters for final consonants?

Each syllable exists in the form I(F) which gives either I (initial only) or IF (initial and final). This means we don't need a vowel killer anymore and can use the new finals instead.

Since there are also the leftover vowels, I assigned them to the 4 stress/glottal stop combinations. Unmarked = stress on the penultimate, a = stress on the penultimate and glottal stop, i = stress on the ultimate, and u = stress on the ultimate and glottal stop. For stress on the ultimate where there already is a final (sikát), an i kudlit can be added on that final.

I simplified the existing baybayin to get the new final characters. But another option is to just shrink the baybayin characters like how sutegana (small japanese kana) works.

I made some Diep Tank Minis!

Hello diep.io players! It is about time we let our favorite tanks come to the real world. I am designing and 3d printing every diep.io tank (or at least I'm trying to) consistent to the in-game proportions and sizes.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time now but I didn't really know how to start. That's until I learned OpenSCAD and now most of my workflow is found there. I have been sourcing the tank data from diepcustom and Open Source Arras. These haven't been updated in a while though so I can't make the newer tanks to a good precision yet.

So far I have made 48/64 tank entities and am trying to break down the code for bosses and polygons. I might make arras.io tanks as well in the future but time will tell. You can also expect some ammunition. But from experience I know it's not so practical because it is easy to lose such small pieces of plastic.

Also, huge thanks to mrm64 on Thingiverse because it was the main inspiration for this project. The differnece is my models are mostly made to be a miniature or still figure, so only certain parts can be posed. If you want tanks that can spin and move you should check their models out.

I am planning on releasing these for free but don't count on it releasing very soon. This is still the early stage of the modeling and printing process and I am not planning on uploading the files just yet. But if you have a 3d printer at home and some modeling knowledge you can also try to make it yourself.

I don't plan on selling the printed models so it is up to your own discretion on how you will get them printed. Anyways, there are lots of online printing services and you might be lucky to have a 3d printing café near you. If you plan on selling the printed models the least I can ask is that you credit back to me. And of course don't go out selling the files because they are already free.

As I upload this post more tanks are on the way (I might add some photos to the comments later). I'll make follow up posts when something big happens but for now I'll just leave everyone with this short introductory post. I cannot guarantee that I will finish this project but I'll try my best to do so!

TL;DR: I am going to design and 3d print accurate miniatures of the diep.io tanks. I plan to release the files for free but don't expect that to happen soon. Stay tuned for more updates!

Edit: Yo, thanks to the one who awarded this post! It's my first time receiving any award and now I kinda feel pressured to finish this project hehe (but it's no worries) 🙏🙏🙏🙏 When my schedule clears I'll see if I can put the files up somewhere even if it's not yet the final state so that people can start printing!

Is there a setting to change the pattern above the supports?

Maybe this is obvious for some but I cannot seem to find the setting to change this pattern in Bambu Studio. You can see the diagonal pattern on the first and top layers of the print. The thing is, I want that same pattern over where the supports are. Back when I used the Creality slicer it was the default pattern after a support. But now it has this weird back-and-forth pattern that doesn't even connect at the sides. Is there a way to change this in Bambu Studio?
