Grove Note App Store screenshots

I commissioned these screenshots and I think they look awesome. I know nothing about UI design though and would appreciate some critiques. The only thing I don’t love is the first screenshot is about importing your notes instead of the main problem my app is solving.

Testing an app that helps you actually revisit old Apple Notes

Anyone else have an Apple Notes graveyard?

I capture plenty of ideas, reminders, and random thoughts in Apple Notes but most of them slowly disappear into an ever-growing backlog

I’m building Grove Note to solve that specific problem. You can import your Apple Notes, then work through them by swiping. The goal is to provide a calm, satisfying way to revisit what you saved and decide what is still useful. Besides that, it's a minimal note-taking app with Bear-inspired UI except I went for a plant theme.

It's currently in beta testing and I'm looking for testers but I can also give you the waitlist

The beta includes:

• TestFlight access
• A Discord for feedback
• One year of Grove Pro at launch for the first 20 active testers

I’ve included a short demo. DM me for an invite or waitlist.

Join the Grove Note beta

Grove Note is a notes app for people who capture a lot and but don’t organize enough. Me for example, my apple notes backlog usually just keeps growing and I lose out on notes/ideas I genuinely wanted to revisit. My solution is a re-imagination of those photo album cleaner apps, but for your notes.

Looking for iPhone testers who:

• dump notes and rarely go back

• want a lighter way to sort / archive / make notes useful again

What’s included:

• TestFlight install

• Discord for feedback

• First 20 active testers get 1 year of Pro at public launch

The main thing I’m testing is the organize feature, one calm session to clear uncategorized notes instead of ignoring them forever.

iOS mobile game dev

So I know that traditionally you want to validate your idea before making an app, but what does the workflow look like for mobile games? I know that there’s no discoverability and I’d need to invest money into marketing to get anywhere, that’s fine by me.

I have a mechanics system that’s novel and fun (hopefully) and I couldn’t find anything like it out there already. Is my play just making it and dumping money into marketing (besides getting a few people to try out the prototype to confirm it’s actually fun)?

How to market a novel notes app

It’s a boring notes app with a not so boring swipe feature. It’s similar to those photo organization apps, but a re-imagination for notes. It will try to combat the problem of making notes but never revisiting them by making it almost satisfying to do so. The UI is charming, calm, and plant themed. But I really am not sure how to make a social media post about a notes app that would blow up. Should I lean into the kind of “cutesy” factor and try some instagram stuff (I do think it’s a little more geared towards females). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

New kind of note app

Not going to say much, but is this screen intuitive enough for a note app (this is one part of the app)? There will be some simple guide animations in the future, but I’m just curious what y’all think. Flame is appreciated, happy to discuss more through dms.
