My 2016 CX-3 ran out of gas while driving on an interstate highway even though the gas gauge registered a quarter of a tank. The CX-3 has a saddle-shaped gas tank that uses the fuel pump to create a siphon action that moves gas from one side of the saddle to the other when the fuel drops to around a quarter or slightly less. The possible problem is a weakening low-pressure fuel pump that is located inside the gas tank. The fuel pump works sufficiently to move gas to the engine, but according to some reports, if the fuel pump is not working to specifications, gas can be trapped in the tank saddle. I found one aftermarket low-pressure fuel pump available.

I have identified a problem with my iPhone 14 Pro and CarPlay. My experience has been that CarPlay crashes and sets off an iOS kernel panic during some handoffs between cell towers. Driving around in a limited geographic area works fine. When traveling across longer distances the cell signal may suddenly drop due to variations in cell coverage. The CarPlay app crashes hard, creating a kernel panic in iOS, forcing an automatic iOS reboot.

The ceiling fixture was removed revealing a plastic 3.5-inch junction box. I don't understand how to cover it temporarily with a plastic or metal plate, nor understand how I can attach a new light fixture. The previous light fixture was attached to the ceiling with toggle bolts. Yes, I have searched and search the InterWebs. I can't find explicit information. This is a DIY task.

I have a ten-year-old Kenmore - Broan range hood exhaust fan with an attached exhaust vent tube. Some debris fell into the exhaust tube above the fan. How do I remove the motor so I can clean out the exhaust vent tube? Thanks in advance. I did find two wing nuts on screws. I loosened the wing nuts but the motor does not move.
